Our excellent freeze dried cranberry pieces are an excellent substitute to fresh cranberry. They are a great source of s A and C and minerals such as magnesium. Cranberries are also an excellent source of polyphenols that have many cled benefits. Most dried cranberry products (such as our apple infused dried cranberries) are dried in fruit juices or sweetened to give a sweet taste however note that this product is 100% cranberry and is therefore quite tart like a natural cranberry. Freeze drying removes the water from the fruit and 8kg of fresh cranberries is equivalent to 1kg of freeze dried pieces. They taste just like the original fruit and can be eaten as they are or water can be added to rehydrate. Nothing added, just 100% cranberry pieces! As these conditions can vary depending on the season, the weather conditions and location of your delivery, the freeze dried fruits can, on occasion, become soft. As these are factors that are out of our control, please note we cannot accept returns for freeze-dried products if they have gone soft. Once the product is in your possession, we would advise resealing the bag quickly after opening or if you decant it into a container ensure it is airtight and completely dry as any exposure to air or moisture will result in the product becoming soft.**
