Where to i buy the connecting ring? Mine came with a support ring which has a groove on only one side, won't connect 2 pieces of glass.

The support ring you descibe sounds like the gasket that fits only on the bottom of the connected tubes. The tubes connect with a metal cage sleeve that both tubes should slip into. This should have been included with the order. If not, I can only recommend that you contact the seller.

I was not careful when I ordered this item, I thought the description said two 49.5" tubes, where do I buy the connector??? useless without it

You will need the center bracket. The tubes come in one and two piece. If you need two just order one with the bracket from me and I will send you two brackets with the order.. Will that work? Thanks Kat
