BEST portable grill -10 STARS
Yes!!! Portable and cooks 18 bubba burgers at one time. The two zones allow to keep warm or add hotdogs or chicken. Best grill marks Iโve ever had too. Also comes with a 1/2 griddle which was an added bonus.. No one believed me until they saw it in action. I use the 1lb gas canisters (learn to refill and save $$$$). This grill goes everywhere and feeds an entire sail team. It cooks as well if not better than the big backyard stationary gas grills, cleans up fast and is top notch rarely found these days quality. Folds up nicely, looks great and goes to the beach, park, boat ramps- itโs just pretty much perfect. I canโt say enough about this item. It is worth every cent. Spend the extra and have this for many seasons of great outdoor food for the group. We like it so much itโs our at home grill when we donโt want to heat up the โeggโ.

Excellent Grill
I am completely satisfied with the Napoleon TravelQ 285 Portable Gas BBQ Grill. What sets it apart from the competition is that it is a two burner two zone grill so you can do indirect cooking. Another advantage is that if you are only going to cook a couple of burgers then you can just use one zone to conserve fuel. They do need to change how they ship the grill. The grates should be separate in the bottom of the shipping box instead of inside the grill. This resulting in the grill lid handles being broken during shipping. I reported the damage to Napoleon and they sent me replacement handles. One change that I made was that the grill comes with self tapping screws for the handles. I drilled out the holes and replaced the stock screws with #10 316 stainless steel fasteners. This removes the possibility of a screw stripping out if you decide to carry the grill by the handles. Overall fit and finish is great. The only con that I see is that the drip pan could have been larger. I needed to change it out after cooking 18 burgers when I used it at the Muddy Roots Music Festival.

Arrived broken but they fixed it.
Both handles on front of grill smashed and box apparently damaged on delivery. Spotix offered to replace parts. Determined damage to grill was to extensive. They provided prepaid return authorization to return the grill. Good service recovery.

Donโt go cheap !
Decided to add a grill to my outdoor kitchen cabinet. Had room next to our Kamado Joe but was not going to pay 200 bucks plus for a cheap stainless steel mini grill. They are called โIncineratorsโ for a reason. 2 settings ,off and hot as hell. This baby fit the space, is built to last, has cast iron grates ( far superior to all stainless grates and even comes with a griddle top), has even heat distribution and has maybe more useable grill space (no cold spots!) than my old $400 Charbroil stainless rigs that seem to rust and look ratty after 2-3 yrs and has precise temp adjustments. (And if you know anything about grilling, Napoleon is one of the top grills you can get. Significantly better that even Weber). And it comes in red , matches the Kamado Joe perfectly.Season the grates first and use the Napoleon web site for care tips. Zero regrets here.

That this is worth every penny. Great grill. Well engineered and well constructed
The size for travel is just right. The included griddle works well and used often. Clean up on this grill is a breeze. folds up and is stored easily. I guess at this point I have no negatives to offer.

Received damaged.
Havenโt used yet but grill arrived with handle snapped in half. Opened up an online claim with Napoleon four days ago and was told theyโd contact me in within 48 hours. Nothing since and good luck trying to get in touch with their customer support or get an email response. Amazon customer service no better.

Good Heat and well built
Bought the Napoleon after using a Coleman Road Tripper for about 4 years. This grill has a better starter and heats better. The Road Tripper was cumbersome to setup and hard to move on the wheels. I think the Napoleon is a better built grill and my unit is the tabletop version. Takes up less space in the RV storage compartment and heats up more evenly and has a hotter flame which is important if it is cold or windy outside. I compared this to the Weber Q and felt there were better features on the Napoleon.

Cool Grill
After looking at reviews extensively I finally was able to locate and purchase the Napoleon TravelQ 285 Portable Gas Grill on Amazon and love it. Thankfully it arrived intact, nothing broken. It does heat up very well and tapers off very well when you want to do indirect grilling. My first grilled meal (poultry & vegetables) came off the grill perfect! I agree with a previous reviewer, if you want to pack it up right away forget it, definitely has to cool off first. It is very easy to clean. Unfortunately can't find any of the aluminum pan liners for the grease drip but will continue to look. I recommend this grill.

We love this bbq! Heats and cooks evenly. Is very well made. This os our second Napoleon portable bbq. The last one we had was used all year round and lasted a full 10 years. Would highly recommend this bbq

This is a quality bbq that may be a little heavier than most. We love the griddle which fits in place of one grill and adds a alternative cooking option. We had hoped to fit it to our LP tank on our trailer but this is not possible without an adapter which at this time is unavailable. We actually drove to Barrie to visit the factory and they said there would be a year long wait for the part. Without it we are dependent on the small canisters that are readily available but destined for landfill. This BBQ is easy to light and sturdy and will easily cook a meal for four.

We bought this grill for our RV after travelling with friends who had it. The flexibility of cooking with two burners sold us, besides the quality of the product. It is also easy to store in an outside compartment of the RV.
