Better than Lectric Shave
Super easy to apply compared to Lectric Shave which is an absolute oily nightmare that spills everywhere. This also does not have to be rinsed off unlike Lectric Shave which explicitly tells you to in the directions. I've noticed there's quite a few negative reviews for this product, the reason is because most of them actually received mislabeled aftershave. You can easily tell by comparing the ingredients with the Amazon listing and making sure the directions are correct. Another way to tell is by the scent, it's a lot milder on the pre-shave compared to the aftershave.

Great, smooth electric shave
This lotion has improved my electric shave 100%. No doubt that it works really well, but what I love is that it doesn't get all over the place when you apply it. There are many competing liquid products which run through your fingers (or off your palm) and drip all over when you try to apply them. I've used them - it's a nuisance. With this one you just apply a little lotion to your fingers, apply to the beard, then let it dry for around 10 seconds, or so. I feel like I'm getting a shave as close as I do with my razor. Really smooth. Oh yeah, doesn't hurt that it has a fresh, clean smell. No hesitation in recommending it.

Use as aftershave lotion after electric shaver. Has pretty strong and old fashioned scent, however, I still enjoying as cooling down the skin and non greasy at all.

More of a lotion than a splash on. Got a nice fragrance. I wet shave as well as electric so can use this as after shave or pre lec.
