Unfortunately, after 3 days of use, nothing has changed. We've repeatedly tested it to be sure it's functional, and it is. She just does not respond to the sound. The VERY FIRST time she barked, she hesitated for just a split moment, but then went right into her barking at our neighbor dogs again. We are looking for a different solution now, and returning this item.

Works so well!

Disappointing...does not work for our Catahoula Leopard mix

Works for some dogs, maybe?
I could see the dogs kind of react to the sound it emitted?? But it certainly didn't stop them from barking. My sister had better results than I did...so maybe our dogs are just stupid?? I can't be too mad at it for the price. It was worth a shot.

Be careful where you mount this house.
This Barking device will not work if there is some sort of barrier , such as a wooden fence, between the device and the dogs. I’ve just moved it to get a better angle. I’ll see if that works. I’m unhappy with this purchase so far.

Worked ok
I have two dogs that will excessively bark at the mailman, other passing dogs or even a random leaf that falls from a tree. I had to turn it up to the max setting for it to have any effect on them. It has decreased their barking a little bit but not as effective as I anticipated it would be.

Doesn’t work at all my dogs keep barking and it does absolutely nothing to distract them ... battery in it is brand new not worth the money

Bought because of neighbor's dogs
I put it near the fence to stop the neighbors dogs from barking. It stopped mine from barking back and seems to be working to help stop the incessant barking from the shepherd next door.

Doesn't actually seem to work.
Does not seem to have any effect on any dog barking. Tried in 2 locations for 2 different dogs.
