This dress hits a lot of marks for me. I am 5'7" and although at approximately 135-140 lbs, I am not exceptionally overweight, my waistline has increased with age and camouflage is a necessity - this dress conceals that area very well. I have a long neck, so I look for scoop necklines, and this one is very flattering. The material appears to be easy care and non-wrinkling. The red I purchased is a perfect shade of red, bright and true, with no hint of orange. I think this dress will pack very well for vacations. I had ordered both the small and medium as I was unsure which would work, and I am keeping them both. They both fit well, the small I will wear free flowing, and the medium I will tie in a knot on the side, a nice unique look. Jewelry, a scarf, or a nice sweater or shawl can easily add many different looks. I just ordered three more of this dress in different patterns!

I can't wait to buy more of these dresses. I am 5'7" 200# and a size 14 (much of it mid-section). This hides ALL of that. The arm holes are perfect and I can raise my arms without showing anything. The fabric gives so there is no discomfort or weirdness. There is no binding, my rear end isn't sticking out etc. The cut is blousy enough that nothing clings to parts that I don't want (no back/bra bulges at all, no muffin, no love handles NONE of it). The length falls between mid thigh and top of knee so that it falls below the largest part of the thigh and makes your legs look good (in fact I may hem it up another inch - which is easy) when so many dresses are too short. This one is between perfect and maybe I'll get around to hemming it or maybe not since I'll be bending down to play with my grandchildren a lot. The way it is, I have full range of bending and sitting and squatting without showing the world everything but while standing it doesn't look frumpy. The fabric is thin and breezy (cool) but not so thin you can see through it (at least in black) but if I find the others are a little see through I will add a light micro fiber slip. I am boxy and the dress is not fitted yet I feel feminine wearing it. I can add a cardigan and wear it to work or throw on flip flops and run errands. This is a very versatile and comfortable dress that doesn't make me look like a stuffed sausage or the grandmother (that I am)

Great dress. I had previously ordered a couple of these in size large, and was okay with them, but my next order was size medium, and they're much better. I'm 5'3, 155lbs, and wear a size 12. the bottom is at the middle of my knee. I highly recommend washing them separately, by hand. Mine have been washed at least five times, and they still bleed color, although the dresses themselves don't seem to be fading at all. They drip-dry super fast. I live on a (usually) warm, salty, humid island, and these feel great. I do have to wear a slip with them, or I'm always peeling the dress off my legs and bottom when I stand up, and because you can see through them if the sun is behind you. I'm careful when I sit at my desk at home, because they tend to get pilly at the front where my body meets the wicker desk. These are my everyday, go-to dresses, and I wear them around the house, at church, to go shopping, or dinner in the evening. Also great for travel. Wash, hang, pack, and wear. With a pretty pair of shoes and some nice accessories, you will look great. I'm getting ready to place my third order. If you don't find the color/style you want in your size, check back later. They keep re-supplying and sometimes adding new patterns.

Jostar dresses are a hit or miss for me. This one arrived and felt like it was two sizes too big. So if you are interested in this style dress, down size . I ordered two other dresses, both in size large. One was tight and the other was too loose. Sent the tight one back and had the loose one altered. Having it altered cost about the same as the dress.

I bought one of these dresses in black to take on vacation, and just ordered two more in different colors. Great price.. It packed beautifully and came out without one wrinkle. I am 5'8" and 155# and ordered a M. It's a little blousy / loose in the front, so I might try a S just to see how it fits. The M hits me about 1.5" above my knee. The dress is very cool and comfortable, and the armholes are perfect. They're high enough to completely hide any bra bulge, but not too high so as to be uncomfortable. While on vacation I wore it with heels one day to go out to dinner, and with my Rainbow flip flops another. (I'm from CA and we love our Rainbows!) Rainbow Narrow Strap Double Layer Leather Sandal - Women's Premier Black Medium When I got home I washed it on a gentle cycle in cold water (with other black items) and hung it to dry. It dried in a jiffy with no wrinkles. For travel or a hot summer's day it's great.

I bought two of these dresses (brown and turquoise) for a long trip to Germany plus one additional, short-sleeved dress from the same company. I really liked wearing them. I am 5'6", weigh 164 lbs and wear size M. The dress ends a bit above the knee, which made me feel self-conscious at first, but it actually was the perfect length to keep me cool. I brought a few thin scarves and long necklaces to alter the look somewhat and always felt feminine and attractive. I do have a bit of a belly (which probably grew with all that beer, bread, and chocolate, LOL) and the flow of this dress hides it very well. I will buy more of these dresses to wear in the hot months on the East Coast.

My wife loves these dresses...they fit perfectly, are great colors, very comfy, and wash beautifully! Great for traveling too!

This dress is both pretty and comfortable. I wear it for Valentines Day and occasions that require red clothes and get lots of compliments! I have loads of JoStar products, and I highly recommend them.
