Nano Filtration TFC dry NF membrane 100 gpd by BARC (Bhabha Atomic Research Centre technology) and ISO 9001:2015 certified co. The NF Membrane pore size 0.0015 microns, flux rate up to 35 ltrs per hour, reduces TDS from raw water 15% (± 7%). The membrane is suitable for all kind of electric operated RO domestic water purifier/filter used with 100 gpd pump & with FR 450 good quality, working pressure should be between 70-80 PSI. The membrane is suitable for input TDS up to 250 ppm max. The water born microbes/germs/virus size remains between 0.027 micron to 5 microns and all the impurities like lead, mercury, arsenic, bromide, fluoride etc. remains greater than .01 microns in water. Therefore the membrane flushes all the impurities and germs from the raw water and gives y mineral enriched drinking water. The membrane maintains around 85% minerals (± 7%) in drinking water naturally. The drinking water TDS as per medical recommendations and WHO should be between 100 ppm to 300 ppm and from 150 ppm to 300 ppm known as mineral water. With more TDS the water taste may be little hard compare to RO water or low TDS drinking water but medically more y. RO membrane leaches more than 95% TDS from raw water and water recovery rate is limited max 20% of feed water. TDS controller or adjuster allows impurities back to the drinking water. Low mineral water cause lots of problem in long run like hypertension, es, cardiac problems, weakening s, joint pain, hair fall, early ageing etc. Please select right NF 20, NF 40, NF60, NF80 or RO membrane according to your raw water and maintain balanced TDS in drinking water for good . • As per WHO, BIS, EPA and other medical recommendations, the drinking water with minerals between 100 ppm to 300 ppm remain in excellent conditions with pH value pH 7.5 to pH 8. • TDS adjuster or controller is nothing but a bypass system to flow the water through carbon filter and then mixed with membrane purifier water in a proportion to maintain TDS at desired level. But the bypass system allows impurities like arsenic, bromide, fluoride, cyanide and other impurities if exist in raw water. Therefore, always use suitable membrane as per your raw water hardness that will give you more safe, y and mineral enriched water than TDS adjuster technology..
• Contaminants molecule size remain greater than 0.01 microns, germs size from 0.027 microns to 5 microns, water molecule size is 0.000283 microns, dissolve compositions of mineral molecule size remain less than 0.0009 microns, but all NF Membrane pore sizes are 0.0015, 0.0010, 0.0005, 0.0002 microns & RO membrane pore size is 0.0001 microns, therefore the NF Membrane & Ro membrane does the job far better than the UV and TDS controller system..
• The working pressure should be 70-88 PSI, inlet pressure up to 1-2 PSI, in case of high rise or high inlet pressure, users are requested to use PRV else the membrane will get damage early..
• In case of high rise building or where the large concrete overhead tank is used, the tap water pressure may be more than 2 PSI, in that case users are requested to use PRV else the nf membrane may get malfunctioned early..
• Installation guidelines: Before inserting new membrane, make sure the membrane housing is clean else loose particles led to blockage of FR. The KNL-NF membrane need to flush up to 30 minutes and then check the result. Water taste with more TDS may some people feel hard compare to RO water or normal bottle packed water but medically y to intake mineral enriched drinking water. Always use new FR 450 with the membrane, partial blocked FR or if used in reverse order the membrane will get damage early/immediately..
• Warranty details - The membrane does not cover any warranty. The performance of the membrane and filters depends on user skill with proper installation, feed water quality, and pump with required working pressure (70-80) PSI.
