Pork King Good Pork Rinds - Variety 8 Pack (Chicharrones)

Bought the 10 bag sampler and they're all full of flavor! Except the Stupid Hot. It's just wicked spicy to my tastebuds, not a lot of actual flavor. These satisfy my crunchy, salty cravings without the carbs. Yes, spendy. However, there are very few of the hard rinds (if any) in each bag. QC is on point. They are a delight to eat!

So the good thing about this product is that the texture is awesome. It's easy to eat like Cheetos puffs. It's not going to break your teeth unlike most of the other pork rinds do which are geared more towards dogs than people I think. There are no fatty chunks on it which is another plus. I really loved the sour cream and onion and white cheddar. The nacho is good but not my favorite and the butter flavor doesn't really taste like anything so I'm kind of neutral on that. Now the bad. The Himalayan sea salt with vinegar is gross because of the vinegar flavor. It's way too vinegar forward. I ended up giving it to my dogs because I don't like that taste. The pepperoni pizza flavor is the one I thought I was going to like the most and I left it to the end. I don't like it. It's way too tangy and there's too much spice on it but that's my personal taste. I kind of reminds me of the nacho as far as the tang /spiciness but definitely more in my opinion. It would probably be better with a dip. I will probably make some guacamole to eat the rest of these with just so that it can calm down the flavor. I gave this a five stars and came back for the sour cream and onion flavored on a monthly subscription and bought the white cheddar and nacho from another company that sells their products because the price was better. One more "bad" thing I should probably say is that it's very easy to eat the whole bag in one sitting especially if you're not paying attention. I'd like to see these in bigger bags for family size and in smaller bags for individual snacking. Eating a whole bag is equivalent to the calories of one meal but it's not going to make you full because it's not dense enough to do that. Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for a low carb snack because everyone's taste is different. Starting off with to variety to see which ones you like the most is the best choice.

Each flavor is a different experience, but there are a couple things to note. ∙ All bags have good quality control for texture. Out of all 10 bags, only one of the pork rinds was slightly overcooked (hard). Otherwise, they're quite light and easy on the teeth. ∙ The bags/portions feel quite small, but they're still filling. Per Flavor, things are a bit different... Pepperoni Pizza: These rinds are really porous, and that means they can take up flavor really well. The issue here, is that this bag had too much flavor. I was overwhelmed with the spices, and ended up giving the bag to my partner, who happily finished them. This is a hit or miss bag. Either you'll love the flavor packed into these things, or you won't. The most prominent note was the spice of the pepperoni for me. Salted Butter: These were a big hit. They tasted like a wonderful popcorn alternative. Light, buttery, awesome. I'd order these again and again for special occasions. Stupid Hot: This bag lived up to its name. As someone who doesn't not like spicy food all that much, I ended up giving this bag immediately to my partner. I was still curious and tried half of a pork rind. I'm glad I gave the bag away. They're much hotter than Hot Cheetos or even the typical spicy pork rinds that you can get for $2 at a local store. My partner loves spicy, but sometimes it makes him hiccup... these skipped the hiccups and he was just straight crying through the whole bag. He was several bites in before he realized the spice comes in waves. Dill Pickle: These had a very good dill flavor, and you can taste the brininess too. I found these a little overwhelming for me, like with the Pepperoni Pizza and gave them to my partner, who really enjoyed them. I think these would've been better (to me), if I had added a dash of garlic and onion powder to help balance the flavor profile a little. This may work for you if you experience the same problem I did! Nacho Cheddar, White Cheddar, Smoky Jalapeno & Cheese: Underwhelming. The cheese flavor in all three bags were quite lacking. In the smoky Jalapeno, I didn't even taste the cheese. Ranch: The flavor was okay, but I wouldn't buy it again. Especially at such a premium price. In this instance, you're better off buying original flavor and dusting some hidden valley ranch powder into it. I could taste some of the individual spices, but it just didn't marry the way I wanted it too. Pink Salt & Vinegar: At first, I was underwhelmed, but the flavor is cumulative. A few chips in and I really started to taste and feel it. This is a flavor I would purchase again. Onion & Sour Cream: This flavor really shined. The onion flavor was very present, but you can still taste the tang of the sour cream. The is also a flavor I would purchase again. Overall, I'd recommend the Salted Butter, Pink Salt & Vinegar, and Onion and Sour Cream. The other flavors were either underwhelming for the premium price, too spicy, or the flavor was too potent for my taste.

I got the variety pack of 6 flavors. I’m impressed with the clean ingredients & decent flavorings on these pork rinds for the most part. The best one of the bunch is absolutely onion & sour cream, followed closely by white cheddar. I can eat both of these right out of the bag with nothing else. The salted butter flavor is spot on; however, I prefer as a vessel for a dip. I like the pink salt & vinegar; however, it is extremely salty & extremely vinegary, so I will probably only use them as a crumble on top of a chicken casserole or as “breading” for fried chicken (eating them right out of the bag is a bit of a punch in the face). The nacho cheddar doesn’t taste like nacho cheddar to me, it tastes like something that was attempting to be a curry, but didn’t quite cut it. My least favorite is the pepperoni pizza, yes, it does taste like tomato sauce, but the cheapest and most fennel-forward tomato sauce I’ve ever had (I’m not a fan of fennel) with an unnecessary spiciness to boot (I’m not a fan of spicy). Overall, I’m glad I got the variety pack. It was worth it to me because I will absolutely be buying my top 2 (or maybe even 3) favorites on a regular basis.

Oh my guaccccccccccccc! These are the most amazing! Great size bag, no guilt and the flavor is just fantastic. I cant wait to get the bigger box with more flavors! They are crispy but dont break your teeth. They are the perfect softness. No carbs and super fresh.
