Excellent product. Received one as a gift 4 years ago and loved it so much I just gifted a new one to someone else.

The wood sheath is magnetic on one side so your blade does not dull pushing against the wood. At first I thought the handle was too light, but after cutting up Ingredients for a straight hour, my hand was not fatigued and the edges (hexagon shape) of the handle provide excellent control— even with wet hands. This is beautifully gift boxed and would make a nice gift for any cook. Highly recommend this knife

This knife is one of three I have bought to test, as I am dipping into the pool of cooking. It works wonders, and with a good sharpen and polish, it performs very well, it surpassed one of my more expensive chef knives in terms of ease of slicing and chopping of meat and vegetables. It works wonderfully, and the octogonal shaped handle helps your grip, as the indents fit in the crevices your fingers naturally make when they curl around the handle. I Didnt get a pain in my wrist when chopping and mincing either, like some other knives do, (maybe the weight of the other ones?) I recommend it by far.

My wife and I have been limping along with a cheap set of knives we have had for years and years, so when I a chance to try and review this chef's knife, I jumped at it. We have now been using this knife for around a month. It's our main go-to chef knife, and after using it for cutting everything and anything you can imagine in the kitchen, it's just as sharp as the day we got it. The only complaint I have is that the handle is not as ergonomic as I like, but the ability of this knife to slice and dice, and do everything we need it do more than makes up for it. With this knife you can a tomato into very thin slices (I mean, you can if you want to), it's just that great! Sharp, holds a great cutting edge, top-notch steel, and a complete pleasure to work with. 5+ stars!

Bad quality broken handle I don’t recommend at all this product for lees is better knife so disappointing

This 8-inch KASTSU chef knife is beautifully designed. It is well-balance, strong, and very sharp. I first used it to cut lobster tails, preparing them for the grill and found that it was both sharp and study enough to to get the job done in record time. This knife also cuts meat, vegetables, and fruit in thin strips easily. I love the gift box it came in and especially the wood case that surrounds the blade for safe storage. This steel blade looks like it very well made and not only is a great knife for my personal use in the kitchen, but would make a wonderful gift for family or friends. While I recommended this product to cooks and chefs, I recommend that they be stored safely away from children and used with safety in mind. Enjoy!

Sharp knife looks good but well the handle is cracked the finish on handle not great eather

This is one of, if not the best knife I’ve ever used. Very large chef sized knife with a gorgeous banded wood handle that is a pleasure to hold in my hand, extremely well balanced kitchen tool. Very, very sharp it melts through whatever it is you’re chopping, slicing or cutting. The decorate blade is gorgeous to look at and adds to the pleasure of using the knife. Lots of oohs and ahhs from dinner guest when you use it to carve and serve them. The wooden sheath stores and protects this precision instrument in a stylish way again just adding to the experience of cooking with this knife.

i'm a semi-pro cook and i love and enjoy a good knife. have this for few months now and use them everyday. still sharp as day one and they feel amazing

Knife is sharp for like a day at most. It's fake demascus steel and it dulls so fast. Cheap and flimsy. Get a better knife than this crap one.
