Only 1 panel, as stated under "Description". You will need to purchase at least 2 panels for a single window, but adding additional panels will create more sunblock.

What's the fabric like?

The texture varies. Some are basic, boring weaves and some are more "girly" with squiggle detail thrown in. I don't remember what the material is made of, but the fabric of this particular curtain is not enough to block out light on its own - the foam backing is definitely necessary for that. But I posted in my review that the foam is a con to this product when it comes to washing. You have to be insanely careful. Wash cold with little detergent and with liquid fabric softener. That later tip I learned only after I had shredded 2 different sets :-/

The width is 42 inches. the Length is 84 inches. I would recommend that you get two panels for a standard size window.
