Great quality for the price
Overview: I was looking for two 27" monitors in a 1440p resolution with preferably 144Hz+ refresh rate. This monitor ticked the boxes and claims HDR400. Coming from a decade old 60Hz Samsung monitor where the panel type was simply 'LCD', this was an amazing improvement. The Good: - Packaging was good and they shipped with no damage - Color depth is great compared to any other monitor I have used - 2 high refresh rate inputs (HDMI and DP) - Light weight, utilizes external power adapter The Bad: - Speakers were horrible. I know you typically don't buy monitors for their speakers, but these in my experience with them, were useless Misc: - Did not use the stands as I used wall mount/desk mount arms. These are a deeply inset 75x75 VESA, at first I was shocked at how deep the mounting screws were inset but they included extension screws to bring them out flush, nice save. - LCD ring around the back, I left it on since it wasn't overpowering but I had no real opinion on it. I believe you can turn it off in the OSD menu. Conclusion: I had used Sceptre monitors in the past and knew they had been around for a while. I was really happy with the overall quality. No dead pixels. Speakers were a disappointment, but I wasn't counting on them. I would buy them again and recommend them to anyone wanting to step up to 27" 1440p and 144Hz for a reasonable price.

Good value monitor with a funny amount of features
The picture quality is good, no noticeable ghosting and the response time is equally unnoticeable and so excellent. The colors on this monitor are definitely a bit more saturated but what this leads to is neon lights and bright colors to look fuller and to pop out more which I think looks really nice and should be how they should look. The HDR setting at this low of a brightness isn't too impressive, I barely notice a difference if there even is one but it is nice to know that technically this monitor has HDR. Another feature of this monitor that's nice to have but is halfbaked are the speakers since the speakers are awful. No bass, all mids, low quality, low volume, but you're most likely not going to be using them anyways so they're just kinda nice to have. Yet another feature that's nice to have is the RGB lights that are on the back of the monitor. You will almost never notice them especially if you have the monitor against a wall like I do and especially since the LEDS aren't all that bright, but hey: you got cool lights on the back of your monitor that you can change the lighting effects of one time when you first get the monitor so that's cool. Another feature of this monitor is the stand but what makes this feature different from the previous ones is that this one is actually quite good. The stand does have a little tilt forward and a fair amount back and it can swivel side to side a good amount but what's most impressive is that the screen can be flipped vertically which may not seem too useful for most but for me, reading comics on PC has never been better especially since the resolution of the screen is 1440p so I can take in all those small details which I may have missed before. Oh, and speaking of 1440p, this was my first 1440p monitor (excluding the previous one I bought which I disliked greatly and promptly returned and bought this one to replace because of the terrible ghosting), and I have to say that the increased resolution isn't too noticeable at a glance (I wouldn't upgrade to 1440p if you don't have the power or money for it and I'd rather focus on getting a 120hz or more 1080p monitor first) but if you pay attention you'll notice that everything is more clear and just simply prettier and that the pixels are far and few in-between. 1440p and this monitor have been a real treat to me so far and I would highly recommend getting this monitor as it is great and great for the price.

Good monitor for a decent price.
Pros: + Seems to work well for the most part... Nice picture quality and works well for games at least for the PC connecting through DP (Display Port). A definite upgrade on my old 27 inch 2K monitor that I got from 2017. I can't say much other than I'm relatively happy with this particular product overall save for minor issues that I ran in to. Cons: - Had a tough time installing the display on the stand. Instruction manual wasn't quite clear on which screws to use. Also the confusing part is I have to sort of break in the screw holes with a bigger screw for the right sized screw to properly go in otherwise they just slide right through. I don't know might be a specific design choice by the manufacturer but may be if they have that stated in the manual I wouldn't have to wrack my brain trying to figure out that's what I'm supposed to do. All good I was able to do it after a few hours and I'm able to connect the display on the stand by figuring it out on my own because the manual didn't help much. - Had some minor issues connecting the HDMI on this monitor to my Nintendo Switch. If I Pass through the HDMI of the Switch to this Spectre monitor it works fine. However I use a HDMI audio extractor to pass through my Switch and to the monitor so I can use my speakers on it but unfortunately the Spectre monitor can't detect it. Now I had the same issue on my old monitor but the way to get around that was to disable the auto source switching. Unfortunately Spectre monitors don't have a way to disable the auto source switching. I called and talked to their tech support and according to them their display products were designed to always have the source auto-switching. So I had to look for alternatives to get around this issue. Instead of trying another type of HDMI audio extractor (which may not work) I opted for a simpler solution. Since the Nintendo Switch can read bluetooth headphones now I went with a bluetooth audio receiver instead. I had doubts whether if it works but I received that product and tested it and it works. So problem solved. Conclusion: = I could've given this Spectre monitor higher rating if I didn't ran in to those issues and having to seek alternatives so I can use my speakers. I was hoping all I needed to do was upgrade the display and not have to spend extra money on other accessories so I can make other things work. For that 4 out of 5 rating is suitable.

I'm using this Sceptre monitor as my main monitor, primarily for remote work. I also have two other Sceptre monitors at my workplace, so I'm quite familiar with the brand. This monitor is reliable, handling about 10-12 hours of use daily. It's proven to be very durable. The higher refresh rate syncs well with my MacBook, so there’s no lag on the screen. It also features some RGB lights on the back, which add a fun touch if you're working in the dark. The monitor supports both HDMI and DisplayPort connections. However, it doesn't come with an HDMI cable, though a DisplayPort cable is included. Note that you can't use monitor holders with this model as there are no compatible screw holes on the back. Overall, I'm really happy with this product.

It has excellent image quality provided you stick with the SDR visual mode, the colours really pop for an LCD screen, which amazed me. It also has amazing response times, great low input lag, next to no ghosting, and also great variable refresh rate (VRR) support for both PC and consoles. Now, the bad: It has terrible muffled speakers, very limited RGB that barely lights up, an audio jack with meh quality (use your computer's instead) and a bad HDR implementation (makes the screen gray). I think all of this can be forgiven given the price and it's not a big deal since there's a workaround for every single nitpick. Except RGB, which isn't exactly a deal breaker to me. — This is a wonderful product for gamers especially! You get a lot of value for your buck.

I use it as a second monitor to assist my Asus ProART and for the price, I have nothing to complain. I use it for WEB, and other simple work and it is perfect!
