In all fairness, I haven’t actually used this tent yet but I did set it up in the house to inspect it. Once I take it out camping if I find anything else to report I’ll edit this review. But for now... The quality seems top notch! The stitching looks excellent and the fabrics all appear to be very good quality (the walls, floor and screens). The fabric is also well reinforced at all the stress points. I contacted the manufacturer for details on the fabric as I could not find that information on the product page here or on their website, I’m including that information: The shell is constructed of 210D Oxford Polyester, the HH rating is 2000mm and it has a UV coating rated UV50+. Floor is made of 300D Oxford Weave. side not: even though this is a very good quality tent, I will still seal the seams to ensure they do not leak....I’m just old school that way. I have tent camped in all sorts of weather for more than 30 years. I generally camp alone but now have arthritis in my hands making some camping tasks, like setting up a tent, nearly impossible but I’m not ready to throw in the towel. That’s what prompted this purchase; the need for something I can set up on my own with ease and minimal pain. This tent does that beautifully. It literally took old fumble fingers here less than 1 minute to set up and less than 2 minutes to take down. The most challenging part was getting it rolled up tightly enough to fit into the bag but there’s a Velcro strap included that helps with the process. And speaking of the bag, it is the best quality I’ve ever had in a tent bag, made of very durable fabric. It has a nicely padded strap so it can be slung over the shoulder to carry and it has additional smaller grab handles near each end. It’s slightly oversized making it fairy easy to get the tent back in without having to tug at the bag. Also sewn on to the outside of the bag (so they don’t get lost) are two cinch straps so you can really snug things up, I love that. The things that might make it not the right choice for everyone are: It’s a big tent to transport, so if space is at a premium this may not be the best choice for you. When it’s collapsed and in its bag, it’s 5-1/2 feet long, that won’t fit in most trunks or even inside some SUV’s. It fits on my roof rack fine and should not be a problem fitting into the bed of a truck. While not as heavy as a canvas tent, it’s also not lightweight like a technical nylon. It’s fairly heavy at 30 lbs and if you can’t lift that weight and it 5-1/2 ft length to where it needs to go, possibly over your head, this may not be the right choice. The floor dimensions are square, 94”x94” with slightly convex walls. If you need a visual on how much interior space that is, I set up a full size air mattress in the center and pushed the head to the wall, this left 2 feet of open floor space between bed and walls on the remaining 3 sides, more than enough for my gear. I think it would be an ideal space for a two twin mattress setup and if my two large dogs didn’t insist on sleeping with me, that’s what I would do (but they do make for cozy winter tent camping!) The walls are nearly straight up and down making for good head room anywhere you stand (I’m 5’9” and had plenty of head room at the walls). Each of the 4 walls has a sewn-in mesh pocket on the lower part of the wall that would fit a tablet. There are very large sewn-in triangular gear lofts on the upper portion of two of the walls and one removable gear loft in the center of the ceiling. Behind that ceiling gear loft is a piece of paracord that serves as a handle to collapse the ceiling and it held the weight of a fairly good sized light/fan combo I like to use, without any fear of it unintentionally collapsing the ceiling. The things that might make it not the right choice for everyone are: It’s a big tent to transport, so if space is at a premium this may not be the best choice. The only other thing I can think of is if you have back problems that make bending over difficult you should be aware that going through the door might be challenging as it’s not one of those big D doors that many cabin style tents have these days. I think this will be the ideal tent for anyone wanting quick set up and tear down, like overlanders, and for folks, like myself, who have limited hand dexterity. I’ve had cheap tents, instant tents and expensive 4-season tents, all have had pros and cons. But I suspect this Gazelle T4 will soon become my favorite because it’s helping me to keep getting out there! So, for getting me out there, innovation, quality and attention to detail I’m giving this tent 5 stars.

Love this tent!!! I thought I would purchase a less expensive 4-person tent for a road trip with camping along the way, but I'm so glad I found this tent instead. It was SO easy to set up, you can stand in it comfortably, and it withstood some windy nights. It also looks beautiful and has plenty of windows for ventilation. The two-door design was helpful for improving airflow as well. I set this tent up by myself for the first time in about 5 minutes without trying to rush (I'm 4 ft 11 in tall with wimpy arms). Fully setting it up to camp took my boyfriend and me about 15 minutes: unfolding a tarp, staking that down, setting up the tent, attaching the rain fly, and staking down the tent walls and floors. So I would not say that it takes only 3 minutes to legitimately be ready to sleep for the night, but it's way faster than any other tent I've used. Very much worth it! I didn't have the chance to test it in the rain, but I think it would do well. I sealed all the seams as a standard new tent precaution, but while doing so it felt almost unnecessary because the seams looked excellent. If you're uncertain about the removable floor - don't worry. Zero bugs got inside the tent, the velcro looks very heavy-duty, and I dont forsee a need to remove the floor unless I want to replace it after like 10 years. I think one review mentioned issues with the zippers? I'm not sure what that was about because the zippers on the tent seemed durable and strong to me. Maybe if I aggressively zipped them up and down as fast as I could for half an hour I could cause some damage. Maybe. Stakes: mine only bent when hammered directly onto chunks of igneous rock hiding a couple inches below the soil at one of the campsites I visited. I purchased some extra heavy-duty stakes, and I would recommend that others do, too. I needed them for my tarp, and it's just good practice to bring a backup anyway. The tent is long, so make sure it can fit in your car and that you'll have space to store it while not in use. Overall, I highly recommend this tent. It's beautiful, highly practical, and well made. I think I will get years and years of good use out of it.

My sister and I are in our 70s and put up the tent for first time under 5 minutes. The carrying case is long, about 5 ft 4 inches but I measured my vehicle before buying. Fantastic tent, lots of windows, two doors and four good sized storage bags. Very pleased with this tent!!!

I have been tent camping for for over 40 years, have owned many different types of tents, and this is my favorite of all. I (a 75 year old woman) have easily set it up by myself in less than a few minutes, it's well ventilated, has two doors, zippers that work well, is sturdy, and even has a removable floor. AND we can stand up in it. I love that if we remove the rain cover, we can see the stars above because the top is mesh. Two other handy features are the ceiling loop for a lantern and four spacious side pockets for stuff. My new spouse, who had no experience with tent camping until this month, is a new convert to the experience. We originally wanted a smaller tent for just the two of us, but the two-person tent does not allow you to stand up. We are glad we went for the T-4 because it gave us enough room to pull our chairs into the tent when the bugs came out. (While the floor looks sturdy enough to handle this, we did put a blanket under the chairs to prevent any harm to the floor.) We found a good footprint to put under the tent. It is 8'4" square, made by Castlerock and called the Kingdom 4 Footprint. It was about $60, but well worth it for the convenience and quality. We found it at REI

First off, you probably won't find a tent this size that will set up this easily. It is quite amazing to just pick out a spot, pull on each side and have a tent that can be stepped into within two minutes. Properly staking it out and ensuring that the wind can't take it for a ride may take another 5-10 minutes but that is going to be the price you pay for any tent you can fully stand up in like this one. But there are some things that might make this tent a bad choice for some people. 1. Packed size is almost comically huge - around 5 feet long and 1 foot in diameter. For transport you had better have a large SUV or be prepared to put this thing on the roof. It fits into our 2001 Highlander, but only by pushing over the back seat and most of the way to the back of the driver's seat. If you have a smaller SUV or passenger car, it will not fit. Plan on that. Same goes for storage - if you don't have a good place to keep this, it's going to be a problem. I'm able to put it into our Garage Ski Storage rack along with two pairs of downhill skis, but it's not convenient to just stick on a shelf somewhere. 2. The entry doors are strange on this tent, if you have any sort of mobility issues, they probably won't work for you. They are a triangular profile, with the widest portion in the middle and narrow towards the bottom and top. Now the pro's 1. Tent sets up super fast (90 seconds for real) and really, really tight. We had it out in 30 - 40 mph wind gusts, and it sat as solid as a stump. 2. Interior space is good, though maybe not quite what you might expect from the packed size. Two twin-XL air mattresses fit fine against opposite walls, but only a couple of feet between. Since the walls bow out at the mid-point, the interior feels spacious. Storage options abound, and ventilation seems very good. You do want to get the doors closed, or at least zipped up under the awning if it starts raining though, we had a little drip off one corner in the rain that fell straight into the half zipped door. 3. The case is really solid - a good thing, especially if you have to end up transporting it on the roof of your car, and the tent fits in easily without any fuss. Taking it down is almost as easy as putting it up. 4. The removable floor is nice - makes cleaning up the interior much easier. 5. Materials appear to be top notch. Had a couple of places with double stitches that looked a little sloppy, but didn't effect performance. Expect this tent to last several years without problems. As long you consider both storage and transport when making your purchase, I don't think that you'll be disappointed.

I bought this tent in 2017 and have used it at least a dozen times, and it’s now 2026 and continues to work as it did when I first bought it. I’ve lent it to my sister and her family of 4 and I loved it so much they bought their own. And we love them! Most sturdy from wind and rain, so easy to pop up & take down (2 minutes or less), and so comfortable! Great for cold and hot weather. Worth every penny!

WOW! This was a significant step up in size and quality! A preschool family member was making fun of my tiny 2-man tent that I have camped in across the US. As the little ones grow up, I know I will need something more substantial in size and durability. My friend owns a similar shelter to this one, so I was familiar with the pop-out set-up, but the other requires two persons (or attaching one side of the shelter to something sturdy). The Gazelle videos demonstrated a one-person setup up which sold me. I was able to lift the 30# bag easily (it was longer than I expected) and set up the entire tent in my front yard on a windy day without any difficulty. Later, I had to set it up in my kitchen to fetch the serial number off a tag inside the tent, and it was just as easy to assemble and disassemble there despite the tight quarters. Before it arrived, I did not appreciate the fact that this tent is tall enough to stand up in, and it really is big enough for four persons PLUS gear! I replaced the stakes with a more substantial set (slight increase in weight) and am looking forward to putting it up for Christmas so the little ones can see their new camping gear!

I liked the easy set up of the tent..amazing, literally 5 mins to put up and pack away. It was waterproof and I didn't get wet. I disliked the doors, I found it so frustrating to unzip and then climb in and out. I also didn't like the fact that you are so enclosed, I am used to a tent that you can roll up the door and get air in and have a great view. I hated the quality of the stitching in the Tent.. the fabric was great but the stiching was terrible, so bad in fact that I sent the tent back to the seller. For the price you should expect better. I had a double air bed, a small table and suitcase in the Gazelle tent.. enough room for 1 person but frustrating that I didn't have another room like in other tents. I wouldn't reccomend getting this tent because of the poor quality, surely there are better tents around for this price.
