3 months in and going strong
3 months in and still impressed! Stable, beautiful picture every time. No weird hand-offs or artifacts. I would highly recommend this cable. It never skips a beat, even when constantly switching it between different devices.

Excellent cable and value
Excellent cable and value. I have two of the 50ft ones for a gaming setup where my pc’s are in another room. They worked with no issues and support my 4k HDR 120hz gsync setup without a problem.

Plug the Cable in Directly - No Keystones or Adapters
Installed this cable in my wall to go from RTX 3090 -> Sony Z9J for gaming (120hz HDR w/ VRR). INSTALL: I had the cable professionally installed, but the install cost me a lot more money than I anticipated due to the size of the HDMI connector. I was hoping looking at the pictures that the HDMI connector was small enough to fit through the holes drilled by my local ISP for ethernet, but no dice. I would love to see a fiber option from RUIPRO that has slim fiber cables and detachable HDMI ends. This would make it so much easier and cheaper to run the cable long distances, and we could leverage existing runs or small conduit to run the cable instead of extensive drilling and drywall tearing. I made sure to work with the installers to ensure the source/display ends were on the correct side, a friend of mine had one installed backwards and ended up having to pay twice. Performance: At first I had a really difficult time getting 120hz / HDR / VRR or any other 'advanced' display output settings to work. I struggled and struggled, changed HDMI ports, format settings, graphics drivers, etc. I realized my issue was that I used (supposedly) 8k capable keystone jacks and 8k cable 6' cables to connect from the keystones to the source/destination devices. This cable likes to be plugged in *directly*. As soon as I removed the keystones and ran the cable all the way to the source/destination I get flawless 120hz with HDR and VRR working in Windows. I also tested 8K on the 8K port and that is working as well. However, on the Z9J 8K is gimped in some cases so I did not test it extensively. 8K/60p works flawlessly.

I do not recommend it at all.
I bought this cable at a high price compared to others available in the market at competitive prices because it was supposed to be of high quality. Unfortunately, after a few months it stopped working completely. Meanwhile, I have another cable that I bought for much less, and it is still working perfectly and in excellent condition. The appearance and the polished claims written about the product’s quality are unfortunately not true in reality. I do not recommend it at all.

Fixed my video problems
To begin, if you are looking for an HDMI cable for runs of greater than 15-20 feet, don't want to do HDMI over ethernet, and want a great picture on your HDTV, then look no further than the RUIPRO 8K active hybrid fiber optic HDMI cable. After inadvertently damaging my older 25 foot copper HDMI cables that I thought was giving me a great picture on my 75 inch Samsung Q80TA, I researched new cables and decided on the 10 meter RUIPRO 4K/60 Hz (You read right; the 4K cable). The quality of the materials was first class. (Don't be swayed by reviewers who think that a thin cable is a cheap poorly made cable!!) When I tried to set up the cable with my DirecTV 4K Genie receiver, I was unable to get support for 1080p and 4K resolutions. I tried the usual suggestions such as unplugging the cables and the TV and restarting everything. That did not solve the issue. I contacted RUIPRO and they sent me another cable. Same results. I contacted DirecTV and Samsung without any help. They seemed totally clueless about these types of cables! No one, not even RUIPRO, suggested that I try a USB power inserter. So I tried the cable with my OPPO BDP-205 UHD disc player and it would not play 4K discs. I made some changes in the OPPO's video menu with resolutions and that solved the issue there. (I did eventually use a USB power inserter with the 4K cable going from my UHD player to the TV with a visible modest improvement in picture quality to my eyes.) I made the decision to go whole hog and buy the RUIPRO 10 meter 8K active hybrid fiber optic HDMI cable. Same excellent construction although the 8K cable was a little thicker than the 4K version. Same problem with resolutions. But then I used the included USB power inserter and everything changed. Now I had all 4 resolutions with the Genie, including1080p and 4K. And I was looking at the most incredibly clear lifelike picture with never before seen nuances of color and shading, especially with flesh tones. I was smitten. Now it is likely that I probably would have had the same experience with the 4K cable had someone recommended the USB power inserter (or if I had just considered buying it myself). I didn't care. I was using the 4k/60 Hz cable with my UHD disc player and now my satellite TV video performance had just gone up off the charts. I have not experienced a single video or audio dropout but it has been only about one month since I installed my cables. Now, this is young technology. I have read reviews where the performance seems to become erratic with time or that the cable just stops working altogether. There are active electronics involved and things can fail with time and need to be replaced. But my version of the RUIPRO 8K cable is a Gen 3 so maybe that portends success and reliability with time. But I am a very happy viewer for now and would recommend the RUIPRO brand without question. Their support is very good and attentive although I fail to see how they did not recommend the use of the USB power inserter right at the beginning of my query. Both active hybrid fiber optic HMDI cables and HDMI over ethernet are pricey ( I spent $175 for my two RUIPRO cables on Amazon. I would have spent nearly $500 dollars for two HDMI over internet systems for my needs.). But if it fits your needs, I would recommend that you try the fiber optic cables. Bear in mind that you need a very good source for your video signal. There is only so much that a good TV and an excellent cable can do with a mediocre source. I have had a very good experience with satellite for 23 years. I wish I could have had a long HDMI cable of such excellence back then!!

Great! But very delicate. Got a replacement within 2 days.
Just to be clear... a cable that transmits this much data is very hard to do at anything above 12 ft. I have a 20ft and a 50ft version of these cables. Because of how they are constructed to work at those distances, they are incredibly sensitive (any brand, not just this). They don't like being twisted and crammed. I have I have had TWO break on me with normal usage. I'll keep it simple. I use this specifically to output my 4090 to my 120hz OLED TVs. PROS: - Works very well. Maintains full output 4k HDR @ 120hz (even 144hz if u have a C4). - Certified standard... so it means that it's been thoroughly tested. That is what you are paying for. - Customer service was AMAZING. Within 2 days I got a brand new cable. CONS: - VERY delicate. I have these installed in my walls. The necks of the cables do NOT like to be bent or twisted too much. If you plan to plug it in and not really touch it much... then you're fine. Just don't let the neck bend very much. - A pain to re-run cables this long... so that is something you have to be okay with if it dies on you. 100% Recommended IF you don't plan to touch it very much / ensure you aren't bending the neck too much. If you are like me where you switch out the HDMI a bit more often... use strong TAPE to stiffen the neck to prevent it from bending too much.

When I started using Ruipro, they were new to me and so I wanted to give it some time to try them out before writing a review, plus I didn't have time until now. it has been more then a year now I think since I started using Ruipro but it feels more like 2 years but my cables are still working beautifully. Now Ruipro is all I use for my HDMI cables. normally by now I would have had to replace the cable at least twice if it was a regular copper cable because one of the ends would start falling apart. Ruipro uses metal casings for the ends and strain reliefs to prevent this. I've even started using Ruipro in my office now and as soon as I can afford another cable I'm going to upgrade my main display HDMI cable to Ruipro as well. Ty for being such an awesome seller with awesome great quality products that last Ruipro. They may be really expensive but they're worth it especially if you have to replace a regular copper cable at least twice a year when you spend $40-50 on just a regular copper cable-- it just made sense to me to buy Ruipro and avoid that unnecessary expense so now all my cables at home are Ruipro and when I have to replace a copper cable I replace that with Ruipro too. Their warranty is also phenomenal as I thought one of my cables went bad so I messaged Ruipro whom deemed it a possible defective cable and had a new cable in my hands the next day after proof without even making me pay for shipping which surprised and impressed me. I'm not easily impressed. I have been doing business with Ruipro ever since. Ruipro asked me to write this review some time ago but I got really busy and only now have the time to write such a review. anyway, if you're looking for a phenomenal HDMI cable with a seller that stands behind their product with a fantastic warranty, this is for you.

Great cable and works flawlessly with Nvidia rtx3080 and LG CX. 4K 120Hz with VRR. It didn't worked stable however with Denon X2700H but it's more likely due to some incompatible HDMI2.1 issues with Denon/Marantz receivers. Expensive cable but the results are great. A no-brainer for me, buy it.
