It says men's but the pictures are all of a woman. Will this fit a man's head?

I have a large head...7.75 hat size meaning XL. I can get it on but not comfortably. It would be fine for a 6 7/8 men's head or smaller.

Yes it is washable but i would not put in dryer on high put like very low or air dry. It has a very nice inner layer .

Does the rim of the hat fold down, or is it sewed on?

It folds. Love this hat. 7 1/4 head and it covers/stretches great. Super soft inside too
