Very well built. There is nothing low quality here. They do NOT work well with the Certified Appliance YFBFMM "Y" spliter. I bought two of braided hoses and two of the "Y's" for a new dual washer washing machine to split the hot and cold lines to feed both washers (LG front-load washer and Sidekick mini washer). When tightening the "Y" and the hose together, the gasket pushes up into the mail-threaded end of the hose. I believe this is more a problem with the "Y" and/or it's gasket. It leaked every time I tried to make it work. I ended up using the LG factory provided rubber hoses and plastic "Y's". The hose is awesome but the combination of the hose and "Y" did not work. The "Y" will work on garden hose projects. I am very disappointed they did not work together. I tired several times and maybe a better gasket and some plumbers tape would have worked but I could not spend all of the extra time to try to make it work.

I needed to run a cold-water line from my washing machine to a refrigerator in the garage. I connected one end of this hose to the cold-water line used by the washing machine. I connected the other end of the hose to a brass Y-connector. I ran the original hose that was connected to the washing machine from one end of the Y-connector. I connected the other end of the Y-adapter to a 3/4 in. FHT x 1/4 in. O.D. Compression Brass Adapter Fitting. I removed the compression fitting so that I could connect a 6-ft 1/4-in stainless steel hose from the Fitting. I drilled a hole through the wall between the garage and the house behind the washing machine. Be careful not to drill through the soil pipe! Next, I ran that 1/4-in hose through the wall to the garage. Next, I connected a 1/4 in. OD Compression Brass Valve Fitting on the end of the 1/4-in stainless steel hose inside the garage so that I could shut off the valve before I connected the refrigerator. Finally, I ran another 1/4-in stainless steel hose to my refrigerator in the garage.

Fit

I saw someone else mention this in a review and I decided to take a chance on this as well. I needed a short extension in order to attach my water heater to a garden hose so it could be drained. Because of how the heater was installed it was not possible to get a hose right on the drain. This short extension was perfect though and got the job done.
