Can this be used on wet hair?

I'm sure you 'can' use it on wet hair, but I don't recommend it. It gets quite hot. I think it would really damage your hair. Also it is very tiny so it would take a long time to do a lot of wet hair

Will this curl, straight shoulder length hair?

That all depends on your hair type. if you have stick straight hair, no curling iron or straightener will curl your hair. Now if you have kind of straight hair to wavy hair, any curling iron or straightener will curl your hair. This product will give you smaller curls because of the size. You can try for big curls, but you might end up buying yourself. It is a great small straighter.

Can this be used to straighten wig?

Gurss so - gets very hot - very small wand

Is there a way to close it?

There is not a way to close it. I usually fasten mine with a hair tie. Its well worth the inconvience though!!! best mini flat iron I've ever owned!
