Works great
Why haven't I ever used this before. It worked great. I mixed it with 99% rubbing alcohol, let it sit for a day and painted a table with it. It's seems very durable, no smell at all and very shiny. I love it.

Works, but dirty
This shellac does work for setting impulse pins and pallets. There is quite a bit of other matter mixed in with the shellac, mostly a brown fiber material, but I found small pieces of paper as well. I only purchased this shellac because I couldn't find exactly what I wanted.

Not De-waxed!
Not de-waxed! Should clearly state this in listing and on package.

More or less expired
Less than 50% dissolved in anhydrous alcohol even after a week of occasional stirring in a hot California garage. The flakes I received had been sitting in a warehouse for too long.
