Buttermilk Starter Cultures - for preparing at Least 50 litres of Buttermilk

I wait 2 days for the first starter but then use the cultured buttermilk to make more and this only takes 1 day with warm weather. You can keep making more buttermilk this way for much longer than the package says. I use two wide mouth jars with lids so I always have one in the fridge and one culturing in the cupboard.

The advertisement is misleading , whilst it claims you can make 50 litres of butter milk , you only get 3 cultures in the pack and have to make most of your buttermilk by adding some of the buttermilk you have made to fresh milk For the price it is much cheaper to buy pre-made butter milk from a food retailer

Very quick action - makes a delicious drink. Only problem is that I drink a whole litre in a day - it is so tasty.:-) Will be buying again.

Great stuff. Prepare like kefir. Probably tastes a bit stronger. Think I prefer this stuff to kefir, but both are great.
