Fantastic
Tried tatting just to see if I liked it which I do but picots, oh my god picots!!! Could I get them even? Aaaaagh the frustration! Then I spotted these little beauties & thought, now that's a good idea as other gauges looked fiddly to get to grips with for a beginner & I was using an old crochet hook so was stuck with only 1 size. What is great about these is they are small so are easy to use & depending on how they are held against the thread either full size or half (instructions are on the packaging). I like the holes in the top which are great for popping on a keyring but I keep them in a little pocket of an old purse I use for my tatting bits & they fit perfectly & are always to hand. A great little set which has set me up for a lifetime of frustration free tatting.

Picot guides for tatting
Having just started tatting I was dissapointed with my picots...getting them all the same size is really difficult. However, with these picot guides it makes them perfect every time, whatever size you wish. I would recommend these guides, they are neat and very smooth so no pulled threads!
