Very sturdy, super easy to move up and down and overall well built for the money
Now that i'm working from home full time and therefore spending the entire day say down on my bottom i was desperate to get desk riser to get me up on my feet for some of the working day. I was looking for something that was going to be sturdy and easy to menover up and down multiple times a day for a reasonable price. It's fair to say I'm definitely happy with my choice. The unit was super easy to put together, six screws and under 10 mins to assemble. The lift mechanism is really easy to use and lifts the unit up and down with ease, i also chose it as it lift up and down directly over the base rather than out into the room like some models. I've managed to fit two 24" monitors on the top shelf with ease and the phone / tablet holder is very handy to keep the devices at eye level to view notifications as they come up. The keyboard and mouse shelf is bigger enough for a normal size keyboard and mouse but i'm not sure you'd want to put oversized devices on it as it would be a squeeze. Overall it seems really sturdy and well built for £139 and is worth the money if it means i'm not sat down for 9 hours a day! It's worth noting as i couldn't find the measurement anywhere that the width from the back of the unit to the front including the keyboard and mouse shelf is approx 61cm.

and in general I do not enjoy sitting for hours at a desk
Duronic DM05D1 Height Adjustable Monitor and Keyboard Sit and Stand Desk Workstation I am in my late 50's and work from home sitting at my desk all day. I have to regularly get up and walk around the house to keep my legs, back etc from seizing up, and in general I do not enjoy sitting for hours at a desk. I researched different alternatives, including rising desks etc, but the most economic and efficient solution I came across is the sit and stand workstation. I chose the Duronic firstly because it looks sturdy and robust, but also because it gives you the largest area for the keyboard, mouse and monitors over similarly or even higher-priced versions of the concept. It easily takes my 24" and 19" monitors, and the keyboard tray is really large, with plenty of space, and I have an extended keyboard. Many other people with better known brands often state that this element is not large enough for their needs, and leave such frustrated comments in the reviews. I was really pleased and surprised when I started using the Duronic, how much room there is. I hope you get a good impression from the photos. You need a bit of muscle to lift the desk, but the resistance is adjustable to a degree, and my wife can manage it! Lowering is a doddle with the gas struts. There are 8 different height levels. I have it at the highest, as I am a six footer. It is very comfortable. One bonus I had not expected, was that when I do choose to sit down, and lower the Duronic, the keyboard and monitors are at a better level then they were on my desk, and I do not have to try and struggle to get my knees under the desk, as the tray protrudes away from the desk surface at a pleasing distance. Overall I am delighted with my choice. And it seems robust enough and durable to last a long time without serious issues. Time will tell, but if I were looking again, I would definitely have one of these. Well priced and well designed.

very nice, but a couple of "bugs" they could iron out
I just bought the "17" model, to setup a new home office. Previously (Covid lockdown time), I bought an alternative brand from AMZ, because this Duronic one was always out of stock. Comparing the pros/cons against the other brand: Pros: * Chamfered edge prevents the edge of the keyboard tray from cutting into my wrists. * Gas lift is nice and strong. * Plastic surface is VERY slippery - mouse glides like it's a Maglev train. * Very easy to assemble: Attach the kbd tray's brackets with 6 screws and then hang the tray onto the plastic thumb screws under the tabletop. Cons: * The track with the runners is not deep enough front-to-back, so there's some noticeable swaying while in the up position. The other unit doesn't do this. * The kbd tray doesn't lie completely flat on the desk when lowered. This causes springiness and swaying while typing. * The other unit came with self-adhesive sponge rubber bumpers to stick under the kbd tray.

Absolutely Superb - Highly Recommended
Honestly this is really really good and comes with my highest recommendation - hence this review... - I have attached photos so you can see how it works on my set-up with a 34" ultrawide curved monitor which sits really nicely. - As I'm 6"3' (190cm) tall I needed something that could extend high which this does perfectly (among the highest of ones I looked at). - The mechanism is smooth and very stable indeed. - The keyboard area provides enough room for a large keyboard and space for the mouse to travel (essential for large screens). There's enough space on and around it to park other tablets, pads, pens, etc. - It also has a very handy phone, tablet slot that allows power cables through for charging. - The simple Ikea desk is 110cm x 49cm deep and the stand overhands slightly but in a good and stable way. - The price is absolutely cracking and good value for money to convert a basic desk into a sit-stand set-up. Overall though you will have to decide based on your available space, ergonomics and needs, but if your space is like mine then this product is stunning value for a high quality solution. I'm so delighted with it!

This has helped my bad shoulder
Very robust, easy to set up, simple to use, I’m standing up and sitting down all day long !!! I got this because my shoulder was really painful from hunching over my computer all day , the physio recommended this and I’m much improved in a week ( plus stretching exercises) .. very good value for money compared to other types that are £100’s more. Plenty of space for computer screen, laptop etc... just a note it’s a heavy piece of kit and it’s highly sprung but once you have the knack it’s fine to adjust.... you have to find the technique.

Veramente bella, robusta e utilissima.
