I was very apprehensive buying this due to negative reviews but it is absolutely brilliant & so easy to use! We need to cover the walls & ceiling in 2 rooms due to some partial plastering work being done in both & I don’t want the mess & hassle of all the cleaning afterwards. This dispensed & tore off easily & & it’s even easier to pull down the layers/length of the sheets. If the masking tape touched the plastic sheet accidentally it was no issue as it pulled back off without tearing or damaging it yet retained its sticking power. A job I expected to take me several hours to do has actually been very quick & easy. The static also helped it cling to the walls & ceilings brilliantly. I’ve ordered another roll & I will recommend to family & friends. This item is a genius idea!

i brought this to mask off parts of my car for painting and headlight repair, the dispenser has a jagged edge so no need for cutting, i used to use plastic dust cover sheets and masking tape but this is so much easyer to use, take your time with it dont rush so you get a perfectly smooth line and as with all making when overlapping in corners or around objects run your nail across the joins so the paint doesnt blees out down the gap and you will get a great tape line.

This is a great product that is easy to roll out and cut to length. Sticks well and the film pulls out easy to cover. Note there is only tape on one seam so the other is loose but worked for what I needed

It’s very easy to roll out and stick the cover with the help of the adhesive strip that is secures the cover onto the edge of the furniture. The attached cutter makes it easy to tear with one hand. You just have to hold the roll firmly and pull along the edge. It’s been so useful protecting my kitchen cabinets as building work goes on. The drop length is enough to cover a counter and cabinets till a few inches off the floor. I used them on tall larder cupboards too by attaching them together.

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. This worked super for me. Yes the tape isn't the stickiest but masking tape isn't. Just fasten it down a bit at a time rather than pull loads out at once as I think that most people problems.

Good product in theory, the Masking tape needs to be wider than 25mm and stronger adhesive, as you only have 12mm left to tape onto surface. 12mm of masking is not sufficient enough to hold onto surface. I overcame the problem by sticking the masking tape 20mm from the intended edge and reinforced with 50mm blue tape so the blue tape overlaps onto plastic sheet and wall. The plastic sheeting unfolds well and is static so sticks to walls and windows. Ideally they need the replace the masking tape to make into a good product. I use this product when using a airless sprayer (HEA type). PLease Please resolve issues so that customers are getting the best out the product and intended usage.

It is really easy cover ;) works very well! You can cover things very fast and efficient. I have used it to cover my desk while painting my office ;) shame we cannot upload images to Amazon any longer so I cannot show you how it looked like.

3M have a masking system that in my opinion is far superior but at a cost... a cost i feel is over priced and I cant afford so i was delighted to find these. I've bought a few of them now and until i can some day justify the 3M system they keep me going. Its cheap, the holder is cheap, the plastic is cheap, the masking tape is cheap but then its a throwaway item that protects floors and furniture. cheapness isn't really an issue when the benefit in terms of protection and time masking save money! You need to spend a little effort ensuring it rolls off easily and given the folded nature of the plastic sheeting it can get uncontrollable if it tangles but despite all this it still does a great job. when cutting paint up to the lines and edges i still use pressed frog tape for a crisp finish so i use this product in tandem.
