I had to cut brake line at master cylinder since I could not get the rusted bolt off. I purchased a new master and a new fitting then flared the line.

Saved my butt
Saved me in a pinch, literally. Had the rear line pinched. And next day Amazon was sweet! And, I made a pretty darn good double flare with this tool too. So it’s there if you got the skill.
