How strong is it? How long before it wears off?

Depends if you use it neat, or as a spirit wash. I use it on legs as a spirit wash after strenuoys work. 1part MR, 1 part water, 5 parts Methylated Spirit, apply generously, and stable bandage over the top. Reapply am and pm. It does not blister even on thoroughbreds, it does not require washing off like clay, it is excellent, and I I have been using it on hunters and point to pointers for fourty years as overnight relief for tired legs, as a legwash lotion.

Can anyone tell me what is in this product please ?

Hi it's an astringent which works on sore or pulled tendons and muscles. It's an old fashion remady but it cools and rejuices the swelling. But don't cover it over with a bandage. I have used this for years and it works.
