What are the washing instructions?

I won't suggest machine washing these pieces of fabrics. If you soak them in detergent about 30 minutes to an hour, then gently hand wash (no scrubbing). Rinse and air dry should do the trick.

I have 18" arms. When these stretch, does the uv protection dwindle?

I build swimming pools and have a lot of color to protect... Even when stretched it still does well. I will say though, if you are looking to work in these outside I would get something thicker like the Field and Stream brand...

I have large upper arms, is it really one size? If you have larger upper arms how do they work for you?

They stretch and would fit any size

Will Chlorine from a swimming pool damage the UV protection?

I've washed mine with small amount of detergent, and it works just fine. As it relates to chlorine, I honestly don't know. But at this price point, If no one gives you a sensible answer, I would suggest you try on one and give it a try. ( the ole trial and error method)

Breathable protection

Dil works at Amazon loading boxes and chafes her arms. These keep her arms protected and she can still wear short sleeves(hot in warehouse) so breathable, lightweight and washes easily.

Doesn’t fit a 2 x upper arm

One size does not fit most. I do have bigger upper arms. But they aren’t like massive. I wear a 2 x and t shirts sleeves are comfortable to wear. But the top of these are very uncomfortable. And the cuff is loose. Sizing just seems off to me
