PROSPECTORS Coal Mine Matte Clay Hair Pomade 14 oz Tin Can

This is my go to pomade for an awesome pompadour! A little volumizing hairspray and then a small nickel sized portion rubbed on my hands and then picked out! gives me great height and volume. Love the hold of this one but if you put too much on it will make your hair look like its flakey or dry. I like to pair this one with just a small amount of the Iron ore for some shine ( I don't use just the Iron ore alone since it doesnt hold up to the sun or heat as well as the coal mine does.)

I love Prospectors products. I like to have a pomade with a medium hold and a low shine and this pomade fits that perfectly. I use about a dime sized glob and rub it into my hair when it’s just about completely dry and it hold all day. I’m in construction so I wear a hard hat a lot and even after that I just rub my fingers through my hair a couple times and my hair looks fine again. The smell is subtle too. Smells kind of like a clay. Nothing too strong or even noticeable for that matter.

I love this pomade more than any other. I have purchased every one in the Prospectors line, and this one is the best for style, hold, and even some "fingers through the hair" without messing everything up. The smell is also a winner. Citrusy musk. Water based as well, so easier to wash out than crude oil version.

I bought this giant, industrial tub of pomade back in *July*, and I'm just now using the last of it and ordering more in February. I use a healthy amount at least once a day, and I am so surprised at how long it's lasted! I was worried about it going dry, but it didn't dry up at all! I'm so impressed! Great product!

Best pomade out there and this size will last me all year. Easy to restyle, easily wash out, hold is great, no strong scent, and no greasy shine.

I really like how my hair looks when this is combed in. The Matte finish doesn't look greasy, and it leaves it with a natural appearance. It is a medium hold though, and you will find you will need to use air spray if you want to make certain everything stays in place. I will also add that it complete quits working in humidity weather. It just doesn't hold up. But other than that, I love the stuff. I do now only order directly from prospectors so they get the revenue directly. Their shipping is great, and free for orders over $25

I've bought a few pomades from prospectors; their definitions are not always clear. This is what I use every day. Basically not shiny at all (dry look), smells good, and very good hold. I couldn't ask for more.
