Gloria Vanderbilt Women's Classic Tapered Amanda Jeans

I do love love these jeans. Been yrs since found any to wear due to fit. As evidenced by entire large plastic tote of tags on, brand new jeans, too late to return- all don’t fit in some way. I’m not picky either. The many other brands cannot wear. These Gloria V’s are amazing. Comfortable, soft, w/ pockets/belt loops needed. And seam quality is good- don’t see the stitch errors you can on economical jeans. Appearance of these Amanda Gloria V’s are much better quality. I’m 5’4, notoriously stuck btwn pant lengths. Petite are almost capri’s (I don’t wear); avg I’m walking on bottom of pants. Always plan on getting them hemmed, never do. Then the pant bottoms are eventually torn & stained a filthy color. These average length Amanda jeans fit me very well. They’re a little long, but no where near close to walking on the bottoms. There IS one pretty major issue- I wear size 18/20 on all brands, types of pants for years. Jeans, dress pants, casual, even 1pc dresses can’t be any smaller. I can’t ever find pants that fit-my hips are much smaller than waist & muffin top 😆 Ordered these in 18w, fit well maybe little loose which really made me happy. Yet did feel nice & supported too. Well within< 5 min walking around house, they suddenly fell completely to floor while mid stride. They’d already stretched out just to accommodate any movements. Okay, so ordered 16 reluctantly- haven’t worn 16 in a verrrryy long time. Kept the 18 just in case. They came, put them on- felt perfect. Little snug to zip up but fine. This time added belt, went out to concert. Stood up from seat after concert-even w/ belt, jeans almost fell right off. Had to hold up until finally home. They had stretched out that much just sitting in them. Took deep breath, ordered 14. Never thought I’d get on. Laid down flat as can, bf had to pull zipper up, I couldn’t. He struggled for good 5min; finally got it. Still didn’t trust- wore belt. We went out for breakfast, then stopped at stores. By beg. of 1st store- jeans again completely stretched out & I needed to find restroom to tighten belt again. Once home- jeans wouldn’t stay up w/o tight belt. I LOVE being able to see my jean tag w/ a sz haven’t had in decades! Still can’t believe it. BUT- they’re a good couple sizes smaller than my norm. Even then- strongly suggest a belt. Amazing jeans once you know sizes!

Finally, a great pair of jeans for this pair shaped woman. I’m 5’4.5” I weigh 165 pounds. I finally found a pair of white jeans that fit and look great on my body type. I bought them because of the complaints about them being loose. They are perfect for a pair shaped body. Normally if it fits in my hips and thighs, it’s too big in the waist. These pants are perfect. The color opaque and not see-through, which is very important for white pants. Yeah.

Love the jean. Ordering 2nd pair. BUT BE AWARE. CHECK THE SIZE GUIDE. Regular and short are NOT the exact same jean. Short runs smaller in the waist. I ordered 12regular. They were too long, but fit nicely in the waist. I kept them and just turn them under. Ordered 12short. Great in length for 5’4”, but smaller around waist. Yes, it shows this in the size guide, 1 inch difference. I never thought to compare regular and short waist size. I will try 14short 😣. Great jeans, great colors, check the size guide!

An excellent price for a pair of jeans that fit my 70 year old body. I have worn Amanda Jeans before, so I was confident that these would be fine. They feel like they run a little bit big - that just might be my shape - but that means they are so comfortable. I am 5'7" and ordered the regular length and they were long enough for me. In other brands I need a longer length.

These look and feel amazing but do not veer into the category of favorites; not a relaxed jean; as in would not wear these at home to hang out. The over all feel is serious and substantial; Fabric suitable for winter. Would not wear in summer. Stretch is nice. Waist doesn’t buckle or roll.

I’ve been buying this exact jean for over 10 years (usually at Kohls). I wear them to work and they are always a good fit and flattering. I saw these on Amazon for only $20 and decided to get a few pairs. Something has changed with them. They fit fine in the waist and rear end is fitted fine, but legs are straight and not tapered and really wide and baggy and very long. They are not at all like previous versions. They are supposed to be “slimming”, but very baggy legs are not flattering and look dumpy, short and squat.

LOVE these jeans. I didn't even realize they still made them. I normally wear Risen or chicos jeans. But I was looking for a pair of sage green jeans. These popped up and for the great price I figured I'd try. I wear a size 6 short and they fit like a dream. Stayed in shape all day. I loved them so much I ordered the lilac purple ones. Heck of a price for a great pair of jeans.

Amazon recommended the size 4 for me. I ordered the size 6 short. I am 5 foot two and 125 pounds. These fit perfectly. Great length. Looks wonderful with wedge sandals or flats. I also bought these in white, which seems to fit a little tighter than the stone color. I hang dry most of my clothes, so I’m not too worried about shrinkage.

These pants were just what I wanted in a dressier pair of jeans. A perfect fit!
