This ventilation register has proven to be very practical and easy to install. Its simple and elegant design fits well in any space, and the materials seem durable. The airflow is adequate, helping to keep the room well-ventilated without any issues. I like that it is easy to clean, which makes maintenance simple.

The plastic material allows for the ease of installation and the security of durability. The part is the perfect size to blend in and protect the exhaust hose. This is a great value for the money.

Note that the 8” vent is 7.2” diameter for the rear connection. I found out 8” duct is way too big and I assume 7” is too small. Also, the back end is super short and has a lot of plastic protrusions, which makes it difficult to connect and seal. I ended up putting an 8” ninety degree steel elbow above it, screwing 1.5” screws from the inside out to connect, then using a lot of aluminum tape on the inside to seal the big gap. Also, the mesh cover is not connected and can be easily pushed in, so I fixed it in place with a bead of hot glue on the back side. The front cover wedges in very tightly and does not have or need mounting screws. I think this product would work best as a vent that does not require any ducting/piping connection, such as a soffit vent or gable vent, since it has non-standard sizing in the 8” size. Overall looks pretty good installed

Easy to install works great

I bought it to replace the vent on my shed that had been baked by the sun. It fit in the existing hole and was easy to install without tools. Flanges pop open to hold it in place. Nice looking. Great price.

I have an older home with fittings that aren’t standard sizes. The measurements of my bathroom fan external pipe was 68mm. I was able to separate the white piece from the black tube of this product and it fit inside the vent perfectly! This was the third attempt at finding sometime to fit this pipe and this worked like a charm.
