Solid ice reel for the price. No problem with a 4 lb small mouth or a 6 lb lake trout, although with 4 lb test I gave the drag a real workout......It stayed smooth throughout the fight even when the laker was screaming back to the bottom numerous times.

Works smooth. Bought this reel for pan fish. I used it twice. Everything worked great. Appears to be a great companion for my ultralight rod.
