Faithfull FAIWBHANDS Steel Crimped Wire Scratch Brush Red Handle 25cm Long

Needed a solid wire brush for cleaning up some old garden tools and rusty bolts, and the Faithfull FAIWBHANDS steel crimped wire brush has been absolutely brilliant. First off, it feels properly sturdy in the hand. The handle is a nice size — thick enough to get a good grip, even when you’re really leaning into some stubborn rust — and the wood is smooth without being slippery. Properly ergonomic too, so no nasty blisters even after a long session of scrubbing. The crimped steel bristles are tough as anything. They haven’t bent or flattened after repeated heavy use, which is more than I can say for a few cheap wire brushes I’ve tried in the past. It tackles rust, dirt, old paint — even baked-on grime — without any problems at all. I used it on a few old spades, a rusty patio table, and even some metal railings, and it brought them up a treat. Takes a bit of elbow grease, obviously, but the brush itself holds up brilliantly and makes the job a lot quicker. Only small thing to watch is that the bristles are very stiff (which is what you want for serious cleaning), so you need to be a bit careful on softer metals or surfaces you don’t want scratched up. Durability seems excellent — even after a few weekends of heavy use, it’s still going strong with barely any bristle loss. All in all, if you need a tough, reliable hand wire brush for cleaning rust, dirt or prepping surfaces for painting, this is a brilliant bit of kit. Solid Faithfull quality, as always. Would definitely recommend to any DIYer or tradesperson who needs a proper job done.

Love this brush I bought to help clean up some rusty iron. It has a nice handle and is especially good value.

I bought this as my old wooden handled wire brush wasn't up to the task of removing rust. This is an absolute bargain - for only a couple of quid you get a solid wire brush with an ergonomic handle. It’s comfortable to hold and use and it works well. I’ve been using it to restore some old Weider lifting weights and its really helping shift the rust ready for painting. If you need one - get this one 👍🏻

I bought this to remove paint from a bannister I had test painted a bit in black and then decided I did not like it! The brush is strong and effective, and will have a useful second life as a cleaner for my mower to remove grass and other debris from it.

Good for price good handle and very sturdy wire on it does the job also jabs your finger as you try to unwrap it from the bubble wrap

Excellent wire brush with a good handle. Used this solidly for a 36 hour job on old iron railings and the brush worked a treat. Having said that the brush was deterorating at the end after so much use, so I bought another two of them.
