The Loyal Subjects Strawberry Shortcake 5.5-inch Poseable Fashion Doll

All these little dolls are awesome for quality and articulation like in the “bygone days” of the ‘80s ~ however the dolls I’ve purchased don’t seem to be scented (so both styles of Strawberry Shortcake, Blueberry Muffin, and Orange Blossom). The pets and accessories are super cute and great quality too!

Very adorable the only downside is she doesn’t have the orange fragrance. I am still happy with this purchase.

Bought this for both of my granddaughters for Valentines Day. Brought back memories if my childhood. The looks and the sweet strawberry scent

So SO cute. I collect the vintage (80s) Shortcake dolls. I’ve got them all except this one as she’s nearly impossible to find. This one finished my collection nicely. However I did notice a HUGE difference in quality between the old and new. Old are suitable for children to play with and survived to this day. This one is so badly made and flimsy I don’t think it would last a week with child play. Perhaps it’s the one I got but I’d beware if you’re buying these for your kids to play with. They’re not sturdy at all. Otherwise, to look at, gorgeous!

Brought me back to my childhood!

I’m so stoked that this company is remaking my favorite toys from childhood. The Rainbow Brite dolls I bought were both amazing. Strawberry Shortcake is harder to stand up due to her right foot not sitting completely flat. The back of her hair is extremely choppy and uneven. Maybe it was done that way on purpose? My Rainbow Brite came with the lunchbox and the cute sprite purse, but with Strawberry I got the purse instead of the lunchbox which was a bummer. I don’t want the pie and would have much rather had the lunchbox instead, and I’m not going to buy a whole other doll on the slight chance I’ll get it. She definitely has a faint, sweet smell. I wouldn’t really call it strawberry but it’s an obvious sweet scent in comparison to Rainbow. My biggest gripe is that they put those plastic things in 3 spots connecting her hat to her head. You can clearly see them in the pictures. If you’re meant to leave them in, then why send a brush - because you won’t be able to remove the hat to brush her hair. When you take them out, it’s extremely difficult to cut them without cutting her hair or the hat, and they left a big, noticeable hole in the hat. I just don’t understand why they did that. What I wanted most of all tho was the cat lol and she is perfect. I am glad I got this doll at a marked down price.

Wowww estoy enamorada de ésta pequeña muñeca, es hermosa y el cabello es muuuy suave, la muñeca es de una gran calidad, tiene muchísimas articulaciones (cabeza, hombros, codos, manos, cintura, piernas, rodillas, pies) las cuales se mueven no solo hacia los lados sino también de manera circular, se le puede colocar en cualquier posición, y puede estar de pie por sí sola, incluso en la palma de mi mano. Trae lindos accesorios como un cepillo miniatura super tierno, una canasta, un bolso, stikers y una mascota. Soy coleccionista de muñecas y ésta es una de las que me siento más contenta de haber comprado, toda ella es retro y nueva a la vez, la adoro!

Very cute. The design is actually cuter than the original Strawberry Shortcake! Good quality.

Excelente calidad

All was good until that leg came off. And it just REFUSES to get fixed. Saw an earlier review that mentioned a loose leg too so this is either a bad batch or inherent in the manufacturing process. Such a dud, considering the doll's actually really cute and looks good in a 1:12 dollhouse.
