Wild, Wild Taco – by Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza - Hilarious, Fast-Paced Slap-...

This is a fun game! It carries the classic yet exciting vibe of Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza, but has its own fun twists and turns. I feel like sometimes when there’s a “sequel” game it either is exactly like the original or is so different and is just a disappointment and a disgrace to the classic game. This game fell perfectly in the middle, surprising me and my family! The time it takes to learn is oh so short, and playing time is also perfect so that you don’t get bored but don’t feel sad when it’s done.

We love playing this with our family of 3. Our 7 year old is still catching on to the idea of switching who says what, but loves the concept. He gets a little upset when his pile starts to get bigger than his dad's or mine but b/c the game can switch so quickly he like it. It is very high paced, but we started out slowly and are slowly increasing how we are playing which is nice that you can vary the game like that. We are looking forward to playing this with a larger group and my husband and I think this could easily be played with adults and be simply hilarious! Nice quick game that you don't need time to set up or clean up, just play & could be done whenever you really wanted to.

This game has been different and so much fun. Some challenges may exist if anyone has long or sharp fingernails. It’s a slap-game, after all, so maybe a teaching point before starting? We played with 4 adults and had a great time, but it depends on the attitudes of who you play with I suppose.

This is great for teens. Not so much for me lol. It's more fun to watch everyone scramble for cards to me than playing.

My 8 year loves this game!

Played this with my husband and our two kids, ages 9 and 12. This game is similar to Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza in some ways, but it's also very different in others. The words you speak out loud (in this case, "Wild, Wild, Taco") don't need to match the cards played in order for people to slap the pile. Instead, you slap the pile when a taco card (wild) comes up, or when two matching cards are played back to back (after carrying out the movement on the card). The objective is still to get rid of all of your cards first, though the rules about how to win are a bit different (you have to have zero cards and be the first person to slap the pile in order to win, which I feel drags the game out a bit too much). I think this is a cute, fun game, and if you enjoy the gestures and movements from the original game, then you'll likely enjoy this one, because it's got a lot more movement. I think it's also easier to learn because you don't have to memorize the long-ish phrase of "Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza" in order to play (our family never had trouble with that, but some of the people we've taught it to did). However, I like the original game better.
