Harvested from renewable sources in Madagascar, it is available in a range of exciting colours in 50g hanks. Each hank contains approx 90 lengths, each length is approx 1 metre long. Figures are approx as this is a handmade natural product and not machine made so variances may occur.
Raffia is eco-friendly and makes a kind and gentle tie for supporting soft or succulent stems. it is also great to use for tying when grafting trees. Loved by gardeners, florists, crafters , designers and jam makers! Gift wrapping with raffia on brown paper looks rustic and charming.
Made from the dried and shredded leaves of the palmyra palm tree - from renewable sources. Natural strands are then hand dyed so please bear this in mind as there will be colour variances.
PLEASE NOTE: that because it is a natural fibre there may be the occasional variance in colour between hanks and also compared to the images shown. Some hanks may appear smaller but they contain the same weight and volume. Some hanks are just more compressed than others.
