what is the inseam/ length ?

The proper fit will depend on how high you wear the shorts. These are high rise, high waist and are cut to be worn above the belly button. If you wear them low on your hips, the inseam will come down to your mid calf like baggy short length pants. If you normally wear shorts on your hips, these may not be the ideal fit for you, look for low rise shorts.

I have the cargo pants in a size 36x34.. Do the shorts fit the same?

I typically wear a 33 or a 34 in jeans and shorts. On the advice of others on here I've ordered 4 pairs in different patterns as 32's in shorts and the sizing was absolutely spot-on. Unfortunately, I can't speak to the sizing on their pants, as I haven't purchased any of them.

My waist size is 46. What size should I order?

If you can get the relax fit, 46 will work. But if it is not relax fit, you should get a 48.

What is the length in inches or cm of the shorts (not the inseam)?
