The North Face Women's Borealis Backpack

The design and inner dimensions of the borealis have changed over the years and the bags are starting to become useful again. I have had three North Face Borealis bags and the original 2003 one was amazing so when that became too wrecked after 6 years of everyday cycling walking and working I replaced it with the same. Except it wasnt the same, my 2009 Borealis was designed for a laptop and not much else. That and the build was poor with the inner lining ripping and coming apart all over place. I have stuck with the brand though, having faith(!!?) and my 2015 replacement despite being a bit more tablet/smartphone friendly with some fleece lined pouches for screen protection is back up to being a descent internal size(they were all sold as the same internal volume but the 2009 was just wrong). We will see how hideous the internal fleece pockets get with wear but its an improvement on the 2009. As always lots of other features, bottle holders and straps and of a size that makes it carry on luggage friendly on planes. I like it.Combine it with a ten litre dry bags for clothes to keep stuff completely dry inside and maybe a small rucksac cover to guarantee its storm proof appearance

This is a super duper backpack for women. It's very comfortable. It takes all my stuff, from a spare coat to my lunch. Scarf, gloves, hat, umbrella, water bottle, laptop, widgets, chargers, notebooks, pens, I could probably fit my cat in there, if she wanted to come! It's expandable. It doesn't stand up by itself but who cares. Most of all, it fits my hourglass figure, and the straps don't squash my boobs. One very happy bunny!🐰

Very well designed backpack. It has everything right and in the right place. I'm a designer and I love climbing and hiking, and maybe except the bottom of the backpack that makes it fall to the front when put on the ground, it's my favorite one. It looks smart, it doesn't look too big, but you will be surprised how much you can put in there! The additional two straps in the front make the most heavy load to be cared effortlessly. This one was made of nylon (black with blue stretch), and much stronger than any other backpacks, even within the same type

I bought this bag a month ago as hand luggage for a recent trip. It is more expensive than I had originally budgeted for a bag but I am an easy target for marketing and I fell in love with the colours of this bag and the fact it was called borealis sort of sold it to me. I did a lot of research watching videos of the bag and I'm really glad I went ahead. All the various pockets are really useful for travel documents and bits & pieces. I didn't put a laptop in it but the padding on the back would be great protection. The colours are slightly muted compared with the photo but I actually really like that as I was a bit worried it would be too in your face but I love it and it goes with pretty much and jacket I have. The only issue I have is the mid section of the bag is a tight fit for anything bulky. Even with the side toggles unfastened it was tricky to get shoes down to the bottom of the bag even though there is plenty of space once down there, if you need something quickly you can't really delve your hand to the bottom and then pull something out. I found that I had to empty everything to get the items at the bottom. It was extremely comfortable to wear and I would definitely recommend this bag.

Purhcased to replace my tired Berghaus, this was much more expensive but you can see why. Strong material and the zippers are premium with an easy glide open and close. Loads of pockets too, but not too many that you can't remember where stuff is!! Took it recently to Tenerife and had my DSLR and other bits in and was very comfortable.

Great pack worth the money I looked at hundreds and this was the best for my needs

very with this backpack. after hours of searching(need bag for the commute) ordered this on Wednesday evening and came today morning (Friday) quick UPS delivery. very light bag with ample space and pockets. used it for the work commute and dealt with all the usual weight of clothes laptop etc. love the colour(grey) great waist and chest straps. overall very pleased - I'm sure the bag will last me a good few years. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

You cant go wrong with North Face backpacks!. Extremely well designed and built, the compartments are designed to work around with space used and available which in awesome. The build quality is simply amazing, i used this while back packaging around Asia and even after all that abuse its still strong and sturdy as the first day. Available in many colour options to suit more buyers. The zips are made from high quality and extremely study material to ensure long life.

Awesome backpack for my daughter that has back problems. It has a lot of support that will help her back. It doesn't hang down when it's loaded up with stuff like all the others. For any child that has scoliosis with back pain this is definitely a good choice.

I've been traveling with a Swiss Gear computer backpack and it was much too heavy. I knew it couldn't be what was in it since I've only been carrying a small tablet and a change of clothes and snacks recently. I finally emptied it out and was stunned at how heavy the darned thing was. I decided to try this one out since it was my favorite color and North Face is a good brand. So much lighter seems to be well made and has a decent amount of storage and pockets. Love the chest strap that keeps the shoulder straps from slipping off.

great craftsmanship

Very durable, love all the storage compartments, perfect colors. Use it for school, always get compliments. Best backpack

Es handelt sich um einen guten Alltagsrucksack, der auch ausreichen robust erscheint. Leider, und darüber ärgere ich mich täglich, ist der Bereich, in dem man sein Notebook unterbringen kann, sehr eng ausgefallen.
