Genuinely shocked at how well and fast this works!
Another one of those few products which actually live up to the hype. Using this product I was able to completely shave a callous with zero pain that was so painful I couldn't touch before.

Works great for 30mins
I have a bunch of tattoos and never thought to use a numbing cream. Recently I thought why not try it for a large chest piece. I tried a few different numbing creams and this one worked the best. I applied it and then used a seran wrap to seal it in for 30-60mins. It worked great for about 30 mins. I kept re-applying during the session and it was a lot less painful than when not using it. The only negative is your tattoo artist will hate you!

Love it, it works, but only works well on certain skin areas
I used this 5 times, once on a neck tattoo, worked great, once on a chest piece, worked pretty good (he was mostly numb but some spots weren’t fully numb), once on an upper arm piece, it worked good, and then twice on myself. Once on my hand the top not my palm, it numbed it pretty well. Some areas I felt a little sting but nothing like had I not numbed it. And next I put it on the whole back of my calf. So here’s where the skin texture changes and only half of the area numbed. I need the skin that was more porous designed to cover the muscle accepted the numbing cream and numbed but when you flex your foot up and you feel your Tendon, Right about where the tendon meets the muscle is where it stops working so from there down to the foot. I reapplied a couple of times good layers too so it should’ve worked there. But I think the area itself is just different. But everywhere else so far works fine. Hope this helps! Oh, the numbness longevity, honestly about 30-60 minutes

Better numbing cream than prescription strength
I use this cream before I go to dialysis to numb my arm before they put the needles in. It's the only thing that works for me. I have had two different prescription strength creams that did not work. I still felt the needles. An EMT told me she uses this cream when she gets her tattoos. I decided to give it a try because I needed something. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. I will not use anything else.

Yes, it works for tattoos, if you prep.
Yes, it works, if you properly prepare. The photos attached were for a 1.5 hr outline/touchup/coverup followed by 3 hrs of blue coloring. It completely numbed me the entire time except for the last 30 minutes. At which point the effectiveness dropped to about 50%, so, still completely worth it. I would suggest applying a ‘test sample’ the day prior to your tattoo. Do this by applying a small amount to the back of your hand and cover it with wrap. Let it sit about 30 minutes. This will make sure you don’t have a reaction to this cream (as some people do). If you don’t have any redness then you are clear. The day of, here’s what I did (2 hours prior to appointment): - Hot Shower (opens pores). - Apply A LOT of cream (I used 1 complete bottle at this point). - Wrap the area with plastic wrap. - Wrap the area with additional heat source (I used a heating pad). This helps keep your pores open and let's the cream really get into your skin. - After 1 hour, I removed wrap, reapplied more cream (1/2 of new bottle), rewrap area, cycle heat source (I started cycling my heat source on and off because the numbing cream was really starting to take effect at this point because I realized I couldn't feel the heat from the pad anymore and did not want to overdo the heat applied to my arm prior to the appointment). - 15 minutes before appointment I removed wrap and wash the area with warm water until all cream and residue was completely gone. Two things to note at this point: 1: At this point, the texture of my skin was different, almost 'puffy', this was not due to the cream but rather the amount and length of heat I had applied to the area. 2: The color of my skin was red, looked like I had a bad sunburn. Again, this was due to the amount and length of heat applied. - Both these points were remedied by thoroughly cleaning the area with water, and by turning on the AC in my car to full coldness, allowing cold air over my arm on the drive to the shop. - By the time I arrived to the shop all the redness and texture difference in my skin was completely gone (no need to freak out my tattoo artist). - It was about 30 minutes or so from the time I removed the cream and the time my tattoo artist started tattooing. All in all, this product did work for me. But, I did do a lot of prep for it to do so. Simply applying this to your skin would probably not be effective if you are looking to get a tattoo. Remember; actually sitting for the tattoo is only about 5% of the work. The remaining 95% comes from property preparing for the tattoo and the aftercare of the tattoo.

the best you're going to find on amazon.
ok so this stuff is weird. i've had it numb me completely in some places and i've had it not work at all in others. i have bought it 7 times so i do like it but you have to use A LOT the whole bottle for a medium size tattoo. luckily my artist is a speed tattooist it's crazy how fast she is and the work is amazing. 1. use the whole jar 2. wrap in plastic wrap tape it up so it won't leak out 3.very important give it 3 good hours before you get tattooed. it worked great on all my leg tattoos (i'm heavily tattooed about 50% of my body is inked) it did not work at all under my chin and jaw line area at all unfortunately because it hurt so bad. i use this stuff every time i go which is once a month if it works great if not oh well. i hate getting tattooed but looking at me you'd think i love the way they feel while being applied. lol so id day if your going for an easy non painful spot this stuff is great it doesn't last that long though like an hour and a half to two hours IT MUST be wiped off before tattooing. so get that stencil on and start ASAP. yes i know i'm a huge wimp lol the coffin cat i did not feel a thing it's fairly large on my outer thick thigh. nor the others around it. like i said it's the best your gonna get on amazon i've tried like 10 different brands. if your new to getting ink i'd definitely recommend it or if you just are a wuss with a low pain tolerance like myself it's worth it but not for a huge piece. i'll answer any questions you have :) good luck with your tattooing experience!

Was not effective.. within less than an hour the effect was gone.. had to endure another 3 hours of getting inked in much pain.. there are other options of up to 40% lidocaine, which I was not aware of and may have been better.. Will be trying that for next session..

Effective if applied like a a shaving foam. Keep for 2 hours and it will be effective for 1 hour. Though price is too high for such small jar.
