I never write reviews but this product outshines the rest and I have tried a few over the years. It mixes very well in my hot coffee and I cannot detect any taste or smell. I have seen an incredible difference in my 58 yr old skin (smoothness, healthy glow, etc.). I love that it is tested and has clean ingredients. I am a forever fan. I gave it two full months before I decided to provide my input...if in doubt, give it a try. It does make a difference.

So far this is my favorite, least offensive tasting collagen powder. It's hard to find one that doesn't have an unpleasant taste with type II collagen in it (probably why so many only contain types I and III). It is NOT completely flavorless, it's it's got animal/barn notes like they all do, but this Blueprint collagen does take to covering over well. I mix with water and a little scoop of chai powder and then don't get the unpleasant taste at all. Some of the others taste so bad they'll cut through anything. My big tip for any of these collagen supplements is to use chai powder to make it drinkable. The spiciness masks the off flavors better than anything. I tell the kids it's my "yucky tea".

Something that sets this brand apart is that it contains undenatured type II collagen. Type II has some solid evidence for effectiveness, yet it's usually not present in other brands of collagen peptides. This brand is the right choice if you don't want to worry about scouring labels just to make sure you're the right peptides at effective dosages.

On the pricier end but easy way to get protein in and no taste in your smoothies

Another great Blueprint product. No doubt Blueprint is probably more expensive than some other alternatives but it’s great not to have to worry about quality or what contaminants it may contain. For this particular product, I’ve found the collagen powder gets into the zipper of the bag and makes it hard to close, but it’s a small inconvenience. Also, I see some other comments mentioning it being clumpy. Probably depends what you mix it with. First time I tried this I mixed it with water and apple cider vinegar and it clumped like crazy. But then I tried just mixing in a normal protein shake (water, whey protein, creatine, collagen) and it didn’t clump at all. Also the same with almond milk instead of water and it didn’t clump at all. So I think it was really just the apple cider vinegar in the first drink. Anyway. I’m now reordering this a second time. Very happy with it.

Taste like what a wet dog smells like. But if you hold your breath/ breathe through your mouth you won't taste it.

I purchased this because of the product purity review on a page I follow. They check for specific containments. This one scored higher than most brands. I enjoy it in my anti-inflammatory fresh juice I make each morning with beets. It is undetectable after letting it sit. I highly recommend this Collagen brand to anyone looking for an overall healthy alternative to some of the other collagen supplements on the market.
