Commitment
My daughter got this because she wanted to try out for the competitive volleyball team this year. This helped her practice and she really loved it. Functions as expected, standard size balls fit, and well made.

Functional device for practice if you have a good connection point.
Hung from a basketball hoop, it is a good height to practice. It has some padding to help avoid some issues but I don’t find that area to be the concern. It still has a metal clip at the top of the ball that gets hit more often. It also tends to get wrapped up on the hoop often. This isn’t really the fault of the device since anything would do that. If you have a nice spot to hang this like a high gym location or 10’ ceiling then it’ll be good.

Seems to Work Well
I can't speak to the longevity yet, but for what it is, it seems to be well built, a good value, and serves its purpose quite well--I haven't experienced any breakage or ball slippage yet.

HORRIBLE!! DO NOT PURCHASE!! PLEASE READ‼️‼️
If you are a more experienced volleyball player, or you can hit pretty hard, DO NOT BUY! It is made very cheap and broke within a day of use. Strap AND the clip broke. DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE A HARDER HITTER!!

Spiked… and snapped
Bought this volleyball spike trainer with high hopes of turning my daughter into the next volleyball superstar. She went up for her first powerful spike and… the trainer went down faster than a bad serve. It looked promising, but apparently couldn’t handle an actual spike , which feels like one job, right? We got one solid hit out of it before it gave up on life. Giving it two stars because the idea is great… but this thing tapped out before the warm-up was even over.

Volleyball Trainer
This is an ideal volleyball trainer. Sturdy, durable straps with a heavy-duty clip. Perfect for training and serving/spiking on your own. My 14-year-old granddaughter who plays club volleyball highly recommends it.

Not too great
This volleyball trainer is easy to use. Just load the ball in the Velcro straps and attach it to a basketball goal rim with the carabiners. One problem is the metal loop and carabiner that are closest to the ball get in the way and you wind up hitting them with your hand. My daughter’s finger is bruised from hitting it. I’m going to try wrapping it with kt tape and see if that helps. I wish it was just a strap holding it instead of a bunch of metal parts. The other issue is when you hit the ball it will get hung up in the basketball net sometimes. I had to attach it with a ladder, so we are constantly climbing the ladder to fix it. It’s a good idea, in theory, but it doesn’t work out so well. The plastic buckle that you can adjust the length of the strap is very loose and allows it to slip, also.
