Great little table top scope.
Great secondary telescope for when you don't want to lug around heavier scopes. Or for quick moon viewing.

Best bang for you buck
Great little unit to check out the moon. I was even able to see Saturn and its rings it was a very small image but still awesome. Small package makes it easy it store and to take along with definitely a great first telescope easy to use and small in size lots of fun and memories to be made with this.

Very cool for rookies like myself
Short version: Cool for beginners and kids, but not incredibly powerful. Great intro to the night sky, especially for the price. Longer version: I've got to admit, I'm just getting into this...but I'm loving it. I was looking for something that 1) wasn't expensive, 2) could be used by my kids, 3) somewhat portable. Power - I realized it wouldn't be the most powerful telescope, but I wasn't too concerned about that. Moon views are great, and I can see stars a bit closer than naked eye. Price - I felt it was a good value for something to start with. I didn't want to pay $200 and up to find out I wasn't interested. So I'm thankful this was there as an option. Ease of use - I wanted something I could use as well as my kids. I think it's pretty easy to use for the most part. It's tough sometimes to line up on a star, and I don't really know how to adjust magnifications too well, but I'm getting better. My 5 year old daughter enjoys when I focus on the moon and let her look at it. I want to spark her interest, and I'm already seeing her enjoy it. Portability - This is great. I can grab it off the shelf, head outside, and start looking around. No huge setup or anything. Bottom line - I enjoy it. Granted, it's not the most powerful thing. It has, however, confirmed my interest and sparked my daughter's interest in astronomy. *Photo taken with my cell phone by just holding next to the eyepiece.

It's a Real Value for the money and you'll see a lot of stuff you never saw before!
Excellent small reflector. Everything is put together well, the alignment of the mirrors is good. The eyepieces are usable. I fitted it out with a 15 power wide angle eyepiece giving me 20X and a great view of over 3 degrees of angle. It is small and doesn't take up any space. You can hold it in your lap and look straight up looking through the eyepiece. It came well packaged and was real easy to use. Note that the mirror is 3 inches across 75MM, and gathers light very well. The mirror is an F4 with a focal length of 300 mm. Due to the shortness of the system, you will see a blurred view of the central mirror. This is only a "daytime" thing and you won't see it in the dark. This is a trait of all telescopes of this type. And if you take my advice and buy a wide field eyepiece it will be less noticable. For bird watchers this will focus down to about 15 feet. Of course the birds will be upside down unless you buy a special eyepiece that turns things right side up. You'll see just as much on the Moon one way or the others. And stars are points of light so it really doesn't matter right side or not on the "stuff" up there. There are a lot of stars up there and when your eyes have adjusted, you will be able to use this little telescope can bring you a lot more than you ever saw with just your eyes. Also, holding it in your lap is also usable if you don't have a table.

Hard to find planets
I purchased this Celestron Signature Series “Moon by Robert Reeves” telescope as a Christmas gift for my 7-year-old, who was really interested in the stars and planets. It looked like a good beginner option that wasn’t too expensive, but it ended up being more frustrating than fun and the zoom wasn't a close as I was hoping for. We tried using it several times, but finding planets was extremely difficult. Even when we could clearly see them in the sky, we had a hard time getting them lined up in the viewfinder. The smaller zoom lens fits so tightly that swapping it for the higher zoom usually moved the telescope just enough to lose what we’d finally found. After multiple nights of trying and several hours we gave up, and it’s been sitting on the table since last Christmas. It might work better for someone with experience using telescopes, but it’s definitely not beginner-friendly.

Beginners Telescope
For under $100 this scope has a great bang for the buck ratio! You can pay more for a complicated and quality instrument, but for just casualty looking at the Moon or General stargazing and sharing with friends, this type of tabletop scope is a good choice!

Nice
Nice beginner telescope. Still trying to figure out the best way to use it but so far we were able to see Mars and I suspect we will be able to see the moon well once it's not cloudy out!

GREAT QUALITY
My son loves this telescope

Moon looks good and you can make out details, but the stand is poor quality so without the (optional) finder scope this is very tedious to line up even with a large target like a full moon. As best I could tell this scope can't be collimated, and mine was out of whack when it arrived so anything smaller than the moon looked like... nothing. This is pretty normal but not being able to collimate it means you can't ever fix this issue. The eyepieces are highly questionable as well, zero eye relief on any of them which makes them tedious and uncomfortable to use.

Celestron 76mm Signature series telescope For an introductory telescope, it's decent, I guess, for the price. It's mainly meant for lunar viewing but you can see other objects, but I guess with some attachments, it could look much better. So far, as a family, we have been enjoying learning with this 76mm Celestron. Great for kids and beginners. I took some interesting shots of the moon, you can slightly edit the shots if needed with various software. I took this with my phone via the telescope and had to hold it and align it manually, as I don't have any phone mount yet so it's difficult to do. So I'm sure with some stability, it could look much better. It only comes with 4mm and 20mm eye pieces. Very light table top design. Can get tricky when trying to align objects manually for view.
