Gentle stomach relief
This is a great, simple, safe product. I take 1 cap 30 mins before lunch and dinner, and it really helps with my gastroparesis. The ingredients are high quality, and its a very trusted brand. The pills are easy to swallow with no taste or smell. I would recommend starting with 1 cap twice a day and working up slowly if needed. The directions on the bottle are super helpful as well.

A bit pricey but a quality product
This product is certainly on the more expensive side, and it sucks that the serving size is three capsules because it's sometimes inconvenient. However, I think for the purposes of improving gut motility and even reducing inflammation, it is very helpful. This, in tandem with magnesium glycinate/citrate, has been incredibly helpful in improving my bowel movements and preventing constipation. I didn't find the after-taste to be at all disagreeable, you can taste the ginger but it is not something overwhelming. The good thing is that while the serving size is 3 capsules, it contains 180, so should last you nearly two months if you take the serving size once a day.

Healed up FAST from trusted brand
This stuff worked in 3 nights of taking it for SIBO. My pain is gone and I am on the mend with a new diet and MotilPro. I don't really understand what it does I'm just following the plan. I'm glad I did! I'm healed! Plus I trust anything that Pure makes!

Perhaps rare, but apparently I can't tolerate MotilPro; watch out for 5-HTP
I really WANTED and tried to like MotilPro prokinetic and stay with it to treat my SIBO and ensure my motility was on track, however, I was not able to tolerate it. And with testing on/off use I am sure it was a MotilPro reaction. I was, at times, taking it with Xifaxan and Neomycin, but at other times was taking it alone with no other medications to interfere with it. I took it for 4 weeks beginning with 1x / day, and slowly increasing to 2x, 3x per day over the four weeks. I took a dose before bed because I read that is the ideal time to take prokinetics before intestines do the middle of the night 'sweep'. I began to have symptoms during the night including: waking during night, dry *dry* mouth, gulping air down from the base of my neck, extreme thirst after drinking loads of water, trouble swallowing saliva, winded / out of breath, tossing/turning, sensation of my whole torso-body pulsing with my heartbeats, sensation of my heart working much harder than it should be - aware of my heart working rather than just being at peace and not being aware of it. I told my doctor and stopped taking it... I gave it a rest for 4 full days, and my body returned to a more normal feeling, I wasn't aware of my heartbeat and weird chest energy anymore. I returned to normal sleep patterns, normal breathing, swallowing, everything. Then I started it again slowly just 1x day on a Monday, and Tuesday. By Wednesday, I had to call in sick to work and sleep half the day. I was utterly exhausted, total body fatigue. I had trouble swallowing again, heart working harder again, hear my heartbeat in my ear when I'm sleeping, I wake up gasping for breath, I stopped breathing in my sleep on more than one occasion and was terrified - consciously willing my lungs to please start breathing, dry mouth, headache deep inside the back left quadrant of my brain, shallow fast breathing, yawning to get more air, bad exterior ear sensitivity pain laying in bed, energy felt off, felt like I'd been poisoned. My doctor and I agree I can't tolerate it and I've stopped taking it again. I'm not writing this to slam the product, and I take other pure encapsulation products fine, but as feedback to share with you that you MAY also have a poor reaction, and to be aware to tell your doctor if you do. You're not just taking a benign little ginger supplement. If I had to guess (which I do), I would say I have some problem with 5-HTP and you may want to do some reading on it first. I don't know if it caused Serotonin Syndrome in me or not, but I am wondering. If you google 5-HTP you'll find some cautionary statements about possible side effects. I wish someone had told me about that first and what to watch out for before I bought it, so I'm doing it now here in the hopes you'll also do your homework for your own health and safety. In hindsight, once it started bothering me, I should have completely stopped and not kept continuing to try to power through it and give it another chance.

Definite Improvement
I had done a lot of research on supplements that might help gut motility and ease my gastroparesis symptoms. MotilPro was my choice because it had unique ingredients proven to help gut motility and was manufactured by a very reputable company. I was a little hesitant to purchase because of reviews citing "ginger burn" as an issue. However, if taken as directed, I haven't found that to be a problem. I only take one capsule at a time. If I need to take 2 at the same time, I wait 10-15 minutes between. With my gastroparesis my digestive system would occasionally seem to just "stop" for a few days. I have not had that problem since I began this supplement. Seems to keep everything moving. Very pleased. UPDATE: This definitely works. After taking this for a couple months, I took a break, thinking that maybe I didn't really need it . . . Plus it is pricey. However, within a couple weeks of being off this I started experiencing motility issues again. Of course. I reordered, and within a few days things started to imorove again. So I've decided it's definitely worth the money for me. Also, just a side note: I am taking 3 capsules first thing in the morning (about an hour before eating) along with 2 magnesium capsules. I do the same before bed. I found this to help the best for my gastroparesis. To avoid "ginger burn" start slowly and build up dose.

CAUTION if prone to acid reflux!
CAUTION if prone to acid reflux! I am a fan of PURE products having various supplements, so thought I'd be fine with this one for motility. Unfortunately, not. Within about 10 minutes, I develop strong acid reflux in the esophagus area. Now I am prone to that and have a hiatal hernia that really doesn't bother me. But for some reason, this product does. Is it too much ginger content )1,000 mg)? Should have purchased a small size of a ginger supplement to test first. Subsequent research indicates ginger can cause reflux. So won't be taking any more of these.
