For marking and measuring ...Go with Kristeel
This is my second Kristeel product. Was very satisfied with the first one and obviously this one also didn't disappoint. The machining, the finish and the accuracy provided on the tool is top notch quality. Comparing with cheaper ones which we get at local hardware stores...this Kristeel product is miles ahead. Proud to use an Indian product which not only delivers this kind of tool at competitive pricing but also doesn't compromise on quality. Will be looking forward to more tools from this brand for marking and measuring needs. Highly recommended.

A nice handy tool. But could be better
Pros 1. Nice etched markings. 2. Accurate Cons 1. The tight down screw could be stronger. Even when tighten downed to maximum there is some movement on the arm

A very useful instrument for planar measurements
Well made and quite sturdy with etched markings. Accuracy checks out but you have to take care of parallax errors. Best used for 2D measurements. Quite satisfied and happy to be buying quality products from an Indian manufacturing co.
