Keeps draft out
I had an issue with a draft and moisture coming into a renovated bathroom. The butterfly damper installed easily and solved the issues.

Leaky damper
I bought this damper to replace a leaky damper in a bathroom fan that drops cold air on my head. This damper has two 1/16” gaps down the center making it more leaky than the existing damper. It defeats the whole purpose of a damper to have it leak.

Worked great for restroom fan extractor
Used this in a bathroom facing the north which in winter gets hammered by the winds... works well closes when not in use.... winter will be the telling time.. it was a bit expensive but if it keep the WC frost free its worth it.
