recently the unit is very noisy and battery seems to drain quickly.

Pretty useless - bought as a replacment for a Hoover. Drain so severe my wife stopped using the Hoover and went back to Our old corded Kirby. The original Hoover battery lasted less than a year. Have grave doubts about the longevity ofbatteries in cordless vacuums. (Perhaps the batteries in a £400 Dyson are better if un-affordable!)
