It's Pure Natural Hair Dye - Organic Henna & Indigo Hair Colour 200g

I've used this a long while now and it's my favourite henna/ indigo. I always get a good stain from it. I have dark brown hair with a good amount of grey. I mix a 50/50 ratio and I achieve a lovely warm golden brown on my greys, like highlights. I just mix my henna with luke warm water, let that sit for 30 mins then mix my indigo with luke warm water and straight away add the indigo to my henna mix and apply. Important to apply indigo straight away as it is instant dye release and after an hour or so it loses it staining power. Henna on the other hand needs some time to dye release but if only using water then 30 mins is probably adequate. The longer you can leave it on the stronger the colour. I usually only manage 3 hours as I do it in the evenings and wash it out before bedtime. It appears slightly darker at first but lightens up slightly after a few washes.

I’m very happy with this henna and indigo hair dye. The ingredients feel truly natural, and I didn’t experience any irritation or strong chemical smell. It covered my grays well and left my hair feeling soft, healthy, and shiny instead of dry. The color looks natural and deep, and it lasted longer than I expected. This is the best henna and indigo product that I have used

I mixed 50% henna with 50% indigo. It gave me the perfect medium brown I was looking for. Granted a bit messy and time consuming. I might look for a squeezy bottle for next application. It washed off my forehead easily (immediately after application) and left no colour on my skin or scalp. It did cover grey somewhat, but not completely. I will apply to patches of grey only next time. The colour has lasted better than I expected - 3 weeks later with frequent washing only a slight lightening.

Henna is red, Indigo is blue, when mixed together you get brown. At about 1:1 ratio you get dark-ish brown, and 2 indigo to 1 henna gives nice very dark brown. The dye is unlikely to cause allergy, although any plants have this capacity. If you never tried, then mix them with water separately, let them stay on a radiator for a couple of hours, then mix together and apply for half an hour. Half an hour will give a partial effect - look, assess and adjust the proportions and timing. Note that the colour will keep changing, darkening, becoming more natural for several hours after application. It covers greys alright.

Wow, that henna has been a blessing for my grey hair—it looks so natural. At first, when I applied it, my hair looked green and I started to panic! But gradually it changed into the beautiful brown colour I was hoping for. It just needs about 24–48 hours for the final colour to fully develop. Love it.

I don't usually leave a review on Amazon but I had too on this product, I bought henna and Indigo before to cover sections of my grey hair, it left the grey sections red, I am very impressed with this product with very clear instructions all my hair is black, I am very happy. I will definately by it again, Happy African hair!!

Absolutely fantastic product I’ve never had a henna so easy to use. I mix the entire black with just over half the natural henna and leave it for an hour then apply it to my hair, wrap it in clip wrap for 4 hours and wash out. My hair has never been so stunning in colour, softness and shine. The colour doesn’t fade like normal dies and I’ve never had so many compliments or colour shine and health. I’m thrilled. Absolutely my new go to product I’ve recommended it to a ton of people and have just got my self more. I won’t ever use anything else now.

Gute Qualität und die Konsistenz ist sehr gut. Leichtes Auftragen. Ich werde nie wieder die üblichen Produkte aus den Bioläden / Reformhäusern kaufen. Habe 50/50 gemischt 2 Löffel mehr von Indigio genommen und es ist Haselnuss / Milchschoko braun geworden auf grauem Haar nach 4 Std einwirken. Das pure Henna dafür Stunden vorher schon angerührt. Die restlichen dunkelbraunen Haare haben sicherlich auch etwas Farbe abbekommen. Für intensiveres braun würde ich aber etwas mehr als 50/50 mischen.
