Installation took less than five minutes—just unhook the old flapper, clip this one in place, adjust the chain, and it was ready to go. It made a perfect seal right away and immediately stopped the water from leaking into the bowl. The rubber feels sturdy and is advertised as chlorine-resistant, which is a plus since many cheaper flappers deteriorate quickly in treated water. The fact that it’s made in the USA is also nice to see, and the adjustable design means it should fit most 3-inch flush valves without hassle. That said, durability seems to be a mixed bag. Some users (myself included) have noticed the plastic components or the seal starting to break down after about a year of use. While that’s not terrible for an inexpensive part, I would’ve liked it to last longer before needing another replacement. Bottom line: This Korky flapper is a reliable quick fix for most 3-inch toilets and installs with no tools required. It works great right away, but don’t expect it to be a “forever” part—you may be swapping it out again after a year or two.
